Elizabeth Schmidt 2022-23 Track and Field Roster

PREP AND PERSONAL:

• Graduated from Merrill High School where she broke six school records in the indoor 800, 1600, 32000, the outdoor 800, 1600, and 4x400m
• Is a 3x WIAA State cross country qualifier and 2x WIAA State track qualifier in the 800, 1600, and 4×400
• Was the runner up in the 1600m race in 2022 at the state meet and won bronze in the 800m.
• Holds PR’s in the 1600m (4:58.94), the 800m (2:15.76) and the 5k (18.43.4)
• Graduated with the top of her class with the highest honors and the top academic graduate award.
• Was the Business Student of the Semester (2021), the Junior Optimist of the Month (October, 2021), earned the AP Scholar Award (2021), Athlete of the Week (2019, 2020, 2021), and Spanish Student of the Semester (2019)
• Earned District 2 Cross Country Runner of the Year (2020), Academic Cross Country All-State Award (2020), Most Valuable Runner (2019, 2021), All-Conference Honors (2018, 2019, 2020), 2x XC Sectional Champion, and the Wisconsin Valley Conference Runner of Year Award (2021)
