2019 Rowing Season Begins In Tennessee

The University of Notre Dame women’s rowing team began the 2019 season at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational on Saturday, March 16, taking part in two racing sessions during the day.

This weekend’s event caps a Spring Break week of training for the Irish in Tennessee. The teams competed on a 2,000-meter course on Saturday with a strong current pushing the boats down the course.

The Irish will be back in the water on Sunday morning before returning to campus.
