NOTRE DAME, Ind. — The Fighting Irish women’s golf team has announced its 2019-20 schedule, which begins on September 9 at the Minnesota Invitational.
All told, the Irish will play four regular-season tournaments to start the fall semester. After the Minnesota Invitational (Woodbury, Minnesota/Prestwick Golf Club), Notre Dame will head back to the Schooner Fall Classic (Norman, Oklahoma/Belmar Golf Club). Next, the Irish take part in the Illini Women’s Golf Invitational (Chicago, Illinois/Medinah Country Club) and then close out the first semester at the Jim West Challenge (San Marcos, Texas/Kissing Tree Golf Club).
Notre Dame’s four regular-season spring tournaments include the Westbrook Spring Invitational (Peoria, Arizona/Westbrook Village Golf Club), the Clover Cup (Mesa Arizona/Longbow Golf Club), the Clemson Invitational (Lake Keowee, South Carolina/The Cliffs Golf Club) and the Bryan Invitational (Greensboro, North Carolina/Bryan Park Golf Club).
The 2020 ACC Championship is slated for April 23-26 at The Reserve at Pawley’s Island in South Carolina.
NCAA Regionals will be contested on May 10-13, followed by the NCAA Championship on May 22-27 (Scottsdale, Arizona/Grayhawk Golf Club).
Notre Dame will host one of the NCAA Regionals, which will be contested at the Warren Golf Course. It will mark the third time the Irish have hosted an NCAA Division I Women’s Golf Regional (2011 & 2015). Should the Fighting Irish qualify for NCAA Regional play, they will automatically be placed at their home course as they look to advance to the NCAA Championship for the second time in program history.
