Women’s Golf Opens 2021 Season

NOTRE DAME, Ind. — The Fighting Irish women’s golf team will open their 2020-21 season with the first round of Purdue’s Heroes Ladies Intercollegiate on Sunday, Feb. 7 at the Founders Club in Sarasota, Florida.

Notre Dame’s 2019-20 season was cut short during the practice round of the Clover Cup due to the CoVID-19 pandemic.

“Being unable to compete for the past 11 months due to the pandemic, we’re very much looking forward to getting back on the course this weekend,” head coach Susan Holt said.

“Our student-athletes have been very committed to reach this point in our season,” Holt continued. “Oftentimes when something is taken away, you appreciate it more. I think our student-athletes feel this way about competing again and they will be more excited than ever to tee it up!”
