BALTIMORE, Md. — Notre Dame sophomore women’s tennis player Michelle Dasso advanced to the quarterfinals at the T. Rowe Price National Clay Court Championships, the opening leg of the ITA collegiate grand slam. Dasso overcame two rain delays for a 6-3, 5-7, 6-4 win over Amelie Detriviere from Mississippi State. She will face Mississippi’s fourth-seeded Agnes Muzamelin Saturday’s quarterfinal.
In the consolation bracket, Irish senior All-American Jennifer Hall was eliminated after losing her consolation match 6-4, 6-4 to Pepperdine’s Anh Nguyen.
