Nov. 5, 2010

NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The Notre Dame women’s swimming and diving team will hit the water Saturday at 1:00 p.m. (ET) for a dual meet with Purdue at Rolfs Aquatic Center.

Notre Dame (1-2) enters the meet coming off a 150-93 win last week at Michigan State.

This is the seventh matchup in as many seasons between the two schools, with the series split 3-3 over the last six meetings. Purdue owns a 6-4-1 overall series lead.

Notre Dame won six races during the 2009 dual meet hosted by Purdue. The Boilermakers posted the overall win, 179-121. Both Samantha Maxwell and Katie Casey shelved a pair of individual victories for Notre Dame.

This meet also reunites former prep teammates Lauren Stauder (Notre Dame) and Colleen Drew (Purdue), who both graduated from Indiana’s Carmel High School last spring.

Live stats will be available at UND.com.
