NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Season tickets are now on sale for the entire 2009 Notre Dame women’s soccer season. The Fighting Irish, who are ranked third in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) preseason poll, open their season Aug. 21 at 7:30 p.m. (ET) against Wisconsin at Alumni Field (the former home of the Notre Dame soccer programs).

Notre Dame will play a second match at Alumni Field on Aug. 28 (vs. Loyola-Chicago, 7:30 p.m. ET) before the Fighting Irish debut in their new state-of-the-art Alumni Stadium on Sept. 4 at 7:30 p.m. (ET) against top-ranked North Carolina in the first round of the Inn at Saint Mary’s Soccer Classic.

For the matches at Alumni Field, the ticket window will be located on the north end of the field by the Courtney Lane entrance (across from the Eck Tennis Pavilion). Fans attending the Aug. 21 and Aug. 28 matches should park at the University’s “library lot,” located east of the Hesburgh Library and north of the Band building.

Once the Irish move into Alumni Stadium in September, fans are encouraged to park in the C1 lot (the main lot located south of the Joyce Center and just steps away from the main entrance to Alumni Stadium).

Notre Dame has a total of 11 regular-season home matches this season, with NCAA Championship qualifier Wisconsin-Milwaukee making up the other match at the Inn at Saint Mary’s Classic (Sept. 6, 1:30 p.m. ET, preceded by UNC and Marquette at 11 a.m. ET). Other highlights of the Fighting Irish women’s soccer home schedule include dates with Louisville (Sept. 27, 1 p.m. ET), Connecticut (Oct. 16, 7:30 p.m. ET) and Georgetown (Oct. 25, 6 p.m. ET).

A season pass is $30 for adults and $25 for youth (21 and under)/seniors (55 and older). Kids three years of age and younger are free for all regular-season matches. A fan pack, which includes four season passes, is $70.

Individual game tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for youth/senior. Groups of 20-or-more are half price.

There is free admission for Notre Dame/Saint Mary’s College/Holy Cross students with a valid student ID. Notre Dame faculty and staff also will receive free admission for regular season games with a current Notre Dame ID. Those offers are void when capacity is reached.
