The Notre Dame Women’s Soccer team begins play in the First Round of the 2009 NCAA Women’s Soccer Tournament. The Fighting Irish (17-3-1 / 10-0-1 BIG EAST) play host to the IUPUI Jaguars (17-4-0 / 7-2-0 Summit League). Both teams will take the pitch for the opening kick-off at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Mid-American Conference champion Central Michigan and Purdue, an at-large selection out of the Big Ten Conference, will tangle in Friday’s other first-round game at Alumni Stadium (5 p.m. ET kickoff), with the winners of those games returning Sunday, Nov. 15 for a second-round game at 1 p.m. (ET).
For the 16th consecutive season, Notre Dame is playing host to NCAA Championship first- and second-round games. The Irish are 39-3-0 all-time at home in NCAA play.
