The Irish traveled to San Antonio in 2009 for the Alamo Invitational, however the tournament was shortened to only one round due to heavy rain. After the 18 holes, the Irish tied for second with Texas A&M, recording a 292 (+4). 2010 graduate Annie Brophy (Spokane, Wash./Gonzaga Prep.) earned co-medalist honors after carding a two-under par score of 70.
