Four is the key number for No. 9/7 Notre Dame, as the Fighting Irish face No. 1 Connecticut for the fourth time this season at approximately 9:30 p.m. (ET) Sunday live on ESPNHD in the NCAA Women’s Final Four at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. It’s Notre Dame’s third trip to the Final Four, and its second consecutive national semifinal matchup with the Huskies, whom the Fighting Irish defeated 90-75 at the 2001 NCAA Women’s Final Four in St. Louis en route to the program’s first national championship.
