BIG EAST Conference Women’s Basketball | NCAA Women’s Basketball Statistics
The Fighting Irish return home to host their first regular-season scheduled tournament in 27 years when Purcell Pavilion serves as the locale for the 2010 Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Classic. Wake Forest and Butler will play the day’s first game at noon (ET), with all four teams competing in a round-robin format through Sunday afternoon. Notre Dame will square off with IUPUI at 2:00 p.m.
Notre Dame is looking to continue its success in regular season tournament play, with the Fighting Irish having won 21 of their last 24 in-season tournament games, including last year’s Paradise Jam in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
