Fresh off an impressive gritty performance against second-ranked Connecticut last weekend, the No. 12 Notre Dame women’s basketball team returns to action tonight at 7:00 Eastern as the Fighting Irish welcome Louisville to Purcell Pavilion for a key BIG EAST Conference matchup. Notre Dame holds a slim 5-4 edge over the Cardinals in the all-time series, which has featured seven of its nine games decided by 15 points or fewer (four by single digits).
