Wolak Added to Tewaaraton Watchlist

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – As announced by the 2023 Tewaaraton committee, senior attacker Jackie Wolak has been named to the watchlist for the award.

To date on the season, Wolak leads the team in points with 26, and has tallied 16 goals on the season. Wolak ranks in the ten top in the ACC for assists per game (2.00) and ranks in the top thirty five nationally for the same category. She also ranks in the top thirty nationally for points (26), and is in the top ten for the conference.

In her last game out, Wolak scored four goals and added an assist to help the Irish defeat No. 11 Duke in Charlotte by a score of 14-6, keeping the Notre Dame undefeated in ACC play with a record of 2-0.

She is an integral part of the Irish offense as she helped power them to 82 goals and 115 points. Wolak has scored multiple hat tricks this season while also tying her career high in goals twice. 

Wolak joins teammates Kasey Choma and Madison Ahern on the Tewaaraton Watch List.

The Irish are back in action at noon on Saturday, March 9, as they have another top 15 matchup against No. 2 Syracuse in the Dome. The game will air on ACCN.
