SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The University of Notre Dame’s Warren Golf Course will open for the season on Tuesday, April 12.
“We can’t wait to welcome both the Notre Dame family and South Bend community to the Warren Golf Course for an exciting season of golf,” head golf professional Kyle Lynne Demeter said. “As one of the top collegiate courses in the country, the Warren is ready to help grow the game of golf across the greater Michiana area.”
Due to the Douglas Road construction project scheduled to take place from early April to mid-October, the traditional main entrance to the golf course on Douglas Road between Twyckenham and Ironwood will be closed.
There will be a temporary entrance immediately east of the intersection of Douglas and Twyckenham and golfers and visitors will have to access the Warren Golf Course from the west: proceed east on Douglas past Twyckenham and enter the golf course at the first driveway immediately on the left.
About The Warren Golf Course
The William K. and Natalie O. Warren Golf Course at Notre Dame opened in the fall of 1999 thanks to the generous benefaction of William K. Warren, Jr., ND class of 1956. Named in honor of his parents, the golf course perfectly links three of Bill Warren’s abiding passions – his family, golf and Notre Dame. Mr. Warren’s generosity has continued throughout the years since the course opened. He has funded a number of improvements that have helped the golf course garner recognition as one of the top collegiate courses in the country.
