Notre Dame, Ind. – John Foster, the General Manager of the Notre Dame Golf Courses, has announced the addition of three new members to his staff at the Warren Golf Course. Joining the Warren golf staff are assistant golf professionals Brady Wilson and Ben Berger. Joining the business staff is Lana Taylor. All three are filling positions that were vacated during the winter.

Wilson joins the staff at the Warren Golf Course as an Assistant Golf Professional. He has spent the last two years as a first assistant professional at Lake Michigan Hills Golf Club (2002-03) in Benton Harbor, Mich., and at Pine View Golf Course in Ypsilanti, Mich., (2000-01).

Prior to his duties as a first assistant, Wilson spent two years (1998-2000) as the assistant varsity men’s golf coach and head junior varsity coach at Siena Heights University in Adrian, Mich., where he also began work on his masters in arts degree in human resource development. He has also been an assistant women’s basketball coach at the collegiate level for five seasons and at the high school level for two years. A 1998 graduate of Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colo., Wilson is currently working on his PGA of America/Professional Golf Management degree where he is currently enrolled in level 1. He began his duties at the Warren Golf Course on April 1.

Berger also joins the Warren Golf staff as an Assistant Golf Professional. He has worked as a golf professional in Indiana since 1997 and is a member of the PGA of America. Berger comes to Notre Dame after serving as the head golf professional the last three years (2000-03) at the Swan Lake Resort in Plymouth, Ind. Prior to that he spent one year (1999-2000) as an assistant golf pro at Christiana Creek Country Club in Elkart, Ind. Berger got his start as an assistant golf professional at the Swan Lake Resort where he served in that capacity from 1997-99.

Taylor is in her sixth year working at Notre Dame and began her duties as the Coordinator of Warren Golf Course Services on April 30th. Her responsibilities include all the general accounting work for the Warren Golf Course and the Notre Dame Golf Courses. A 1996 graduate of Indiana University-South Bend, Taylor has worked at Notre Dame since September of 1997. She started as an accounting assistant in the Controllers Office for two years, before spending the last four years as a bookkeeper in the Athletic Department’s Business Office.
