NOTRE DAME, Ind. — The University of Notre Dame women’s soccer program added an exceptional talent in midfielder Brooke VanDyck, who signed her National Letter of Intent to play for the Irish this upcoming season.

VanDyck, whose Penn High School (Ind.) soccer team was ranked No. 1 by TopDrawer Soccer in 2017, joins a signing class that now includes 10 women slated to graduate in 2022.

VanDyck led her high school team to a 66-1-4 career record and concluded her three-year stint on a 47-game unbeaten streak.  VanDyck, a two-time team captain, was named a United Soccer Coaches high school All-American after tallying 13 goals and 14 assists as a junior.

VanDyck and the Irish open their fall slate against Michigan at 4:30 p.m. ET on August 8. To view the entire 2018 schedule, click here. To learn more about the Class of 2022, click here.
