Und.com Set To Begin Fall Olympic Sports Coverage

Aug. 11, 2008

Notre Dame fans across the country will be able to watch some of their favorite Fighting Irish teams compete live this fall on the University’s official athletic website – www.und.com. Produced by the staff Notre Dame Sports Properties, und.com is poised to bring Irish fans full coverage of women’s soccer, men’s soccer and volleyball this fall.

The coverage began last season with the production of 10 volleyball matches, seven men’s soccer matches (including NCAA tournament action) and seven women’s soccer matches (including the NCAA victory over Duke at Alumni Field). This season, und.com, through its Fighting Irish All-Access portal, is pledged to bring each home match of the season for these three sports to Notre Dame fans across the country on the world wide web – completely free of charge.

The coverage begins on Tuesday, Aug. 12, when the women’s soccer team takes the field in exhibition play against Memphis at 7 p.m. This season’s coverage will include increased production capabilities, live in-game analysis for each contest and live, on-field post game interview with the Notre Dame head coaches.
