Two Irish Recruits To Compete In Under Armour All-America Game

BALTIMORE, Md. – Two University of Notre Dame men’s lacrosse recruits will compete at this weekend’s Under Armour All-America game. Midfielders Jimmy Marlatt (Clarksville, Md./River Hill) and Liam O’Connor (Haverford, Pa./Haverford) will play for the south squad.

Under Armour®, Inc. and Corrigan Sports Enterprises, Inc. announced the selections of the nation’s top boys and girls high school seniors to the prestigious All-America lacrosse rosters. The fifth annual Under Armour All-America Lacrosse Classic will take place on Saturday, July 3rd at Towson University’s Johnny Unitas Stadium in Towson, Md.

A full weekend of events is scheduled, highlighted by the All-America boys showcase live on ESPNU at 8 p.m. (ET). The girls face off at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday as well.

The All-Americans are selected by a panel of lacrosse experts at Inside Lacrosse Magazine. The year-long process includes input from college and high school coaches from across the country as well as nominations from the general public.

For the second consecutive year the Under Armour All-America Lacrosse Classic features an expanded eight-region underclassmen event with boys and girls teams from Baltimore, Long Island, Midwest, New England, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Upstate New York and Washington, D.C. The two-day underclassmen tournament (July 3rd-4th) culminates with the girls and boys finals at 3:30 p.m. (ET) on the fields surrounding Unitas Stadium.
