Notre Dame, Ind. – Two upcoming Irish men’s basketball games will be broadcast on ESPN’s broadband product ESPN360 (formerly called ESPN Broadband). Notre Dame’s contests against St. John’s (January 15 at 2:00 p.m.) and Georgetown (February 16) are among more than 25 games being offered for broadband viewing. In addition, the entire BIG EAST Tournament (March 9-12) will be available on ESPN360.

ESPN360 is available on your computer via a high-speed data connection from your high-speed Internet provider. The video offered by ESPN360 is encoded at a high bit rate that enables a fast transmission for viewing high-quality video content. The games will be available to all faculty and staff on the Notre Dame campus.

The product’s enhancements include a new, customizable interface that offers fans more highlights, live games, inside analysis from ESPN commentators, extended interviews, sneak-previews and premieres of upcoming ESPN original shows, and a growing suite of video games. The expanded service also includes archives of ESPN hallmark shows like Pardon The Interruption (PTI).

All content is customizable and can be watched in a variety of screen sizes ranging from full-screen to a compact mode that can be viewed on a small portion of the user’s screen. ESPN360 provides users with the capability to add and delete videos from their playlists, arrange the order of viewing, and save favorite clips and playlists in My ESPN – the users own channel within the ESPN360 environment.
