Notre Dame, Ind. – The Notre Dame hockey program will offer three summer hockey camps at the Joyce Center ice rink on the University of Notre Dame campus for hockey players ranging from nine to 16-years of age.

The three camps, under the direction of the Notre Dame coaching staff, will offer an overnight camp and two elite camps that will provide two-and-one-half hours of on-ice instruction per day along with one-hour scrimmages in the evening.

Off-ice instruction will include shooting, hockey films and lectures, age-specific conditioning and evening recreation periods.

Instructors for the hockey camps include Notre Dame head coach Dave Poulin, now in his seventh year at his alma mater. He will be joined by his current staff, assistants Andy Slaggert and John Micheletto.

Goaltending instruction will be provided by former Irish goaltender, Forrest Karr, who is currently the United States Developmental Program’s goalie coach. Current Notre Dame student-athletes will serve as counselors and instructors at the camps.
