Crowd Control Coordinator
Teresa Pocius is in her fourth season with Notre Dame Athletics, and currently serves as the Crowd Control Coordinator.
In her current role, Pocius is responsible for supporting Program Manager Jim Smith with all management of the Notre Dame Usher Program. Pocius assists Smith in the oversight of over 800 ushers while also serving as a liaison to multiple campus entities including Security and Police, Event Management, Human Resources, Residential Life, VenueND, Risk Management, and Student Activities Office.
Before joining the Crowd Control team, Pocius served as an Equipment Assistant overseeing Cross Country, Fencing, Women’s Lacrosse, Rowing, Track & Field and over 18 additional departments/groups. Most recently, Pocius worked closely with the developers of Under Armour’s new line of high performance running shoes and Track & Field competition spikes. Pocius has been a member of the AEMA (Athletic Equipment Managers Association) since 2016.
Pocius is a 2016 graduate of Valparaiso University where she earned her Bachelor’s degrees in Sports Management and Communications, while also minoring in Business. During her time at Valparaiso University, Pocius worked in the Athletic Department for Event Management and Marketing.
A native of South Bend, IN, Pocius resides locally.
