HIGHLIGHTS:

  • 2018 ITA All-Academic Team

AS A GRADUATE STUDENT:

  • Went 19-10 in singles play during her final collegiate campaign, including a 13-8 mark in the spring and a 7-5 record in ACC play
  • Competed most of the season at four and five singles, going 4-3 at four and 7-5 at five
  • Went 14-10 in doubles action, with a 6-5 mark at two doubles and a 4-1 record at three doubles
  • Competed most the season with Bess Waldram, with the pair going 8-6, including a 3-1 mark at three doubles, and a win at the ACC Championship

AS A SENIOR:

  • Shared duty at the top singles spot with classmate Allison Miller, posting a 5-8 mark at the number one spot
  • Played alongside Miller at one doubles most of the season, going 6-10 on court one
  • Went 4-3 with other doubles partner on the year
  • Also played five matches at two singles

AS A JUNIOR:

  • Finished the season with an overall singles record of 18-11, including 12-9 duals, 6-2 in tournaments, and 4-8 in conference matches
  • Was ranked in the top 100, at 92, from Jan. 22, 2017-Feb. 3, 2017
  • Competed alongside Monica Robinson in the doubles, winning 11 of 19 matches
  • Was also paired with Zoe Spence (1-0) and Allison Miller (8-7) during the spring season.
  • Competed in the NCAA team tournament with partner Allison Miller, defeating Janet Koch and Anastasia Rychagova of No. 34 Kansas before falling in the second round to Sandy Niehaus and Anna Sanford of No. 2 Ohio State
  • Ranked No. 32 with partner Monica Robinson from Feb. 12-18, 2017

AS A SOPHOMORE:

  • Earned All-ACC Third Team honors
  • Finished with an overall singles record of 28-2, losing just one dual match during the spring, and doubles record of 11-12
  • Primarily played No. 5 singles for the Irish
  • Finished on a five match win streak with doubles partner Allison Miller
  • Came away with a victory in doubles with partner Mary Closs against Barbare Eristavi/Ella Perinovac of Western Michigan (8-1) at the ITA Midwest Regional Championships
  • Had wins over Clara Tanellian of Miami (2-6, 7-5, 1-0 (10-7)), Chloe Ouellet-Pizer of North Carolina (6-3, 6-3), No. 78 Ellyse Hamlin of Duke (6-2, 7-6 (7-3)), Kendra Woodard of Georgia Tech (2-6, 7-5, 1-0 (10-7)), and Erica Susi of Virginia (6-2, 6-4) during the dual season
  • Defeated Gabriela Rezende of Pittsburgh (6-1, 6-4) and Tristen Dewar of Clemson (7-5, 3-6, 6-0) during the ACC Championship
  • With partner Allison Miller, won against Gabriela Rezende/Natsumi Okamoto of Pittsburgh (6-1) and Ayan Broomfield/Daniela Ruiz of Clemson (6-3) at ACCs
  • Finished the season in the first round of the NCAA Championship against UCLA with wins in singles over Kristin Wiley (6-2, 6-0) and doubles with Allison Miller against Maia Magill/Kristin Wiley (6-2)
  • Named to the All-ACC Academic Team following the season
  • Earned a monogram

AS A FRESHMAN:

  • Competed in four doubles matches alongside Mary Closs at the Western Michigan University Super Challenge, wrapping up the fall season with three wins
  • Did not play during the spring season due to injury

PREP AND PERSONAL:

  • Graduated from Lakota West High School (West Chester, Ohio) in the spring of 2014
  • Won three National Open singles titles as well as nine Midwest Open Singles Titles
  • Daughter of Joseph and Rhonda Broda
