AS A SENIOR: Had a record of 0-3 in singles and 1-3 in doubles … competed only at the Purdue Fall Invitational in October … the lone doubles win came against Michigan State pairing of Emmy Virkus/Aslina Chua (6-3) with partner Alaina Roberts … earned a monogram
AS A JUNIOR: Played exclusively during the fall season at both the Notre Dame Invitational and the WMU Super Challenge … picked up a 6-3, 6-0 win over Tulane’s Zoe Gaber to kick off the year at the Notre Dame Invitational … defeated Cincinnati’s Samantha Perry 6-4, 6-2 at WMU … earned a monogram.
AS A SOPHOMORE: Posted a 4-5 singles record (0-0 dual) along with a 5-5 doubles mark (0-1 dual) in second season … opened the season with two singles victories in four matches at the Ball State Fall Invitational, defeating Arkansas State’s Victoria Pisani in straight sets (6-3, 6-4) in addition to Illinois State’s Gabby Phillips (3-6, 6-1, 11-9) … concluded fall season in dramatic fashion, rallying for a victory over Indiana’s Mary Beth King (2-6, 6-5 (7-1), 1-0 (10-2)) at the WMU Super Challenge … teamed with Alaina Roberts to win first doubles tilts of the season, topping Valparaiso’s Megan Barthels and Angelina Goheen (8-6) as well as Wright State’s Chelsea Girgash and Megan Brdicka (8-6) at the Ball State Fall Invitational … lone action of the spring season was an unfinished match at No. 3 doubles with Alaina Roberts against IUPUI’s Bobbi Modesto and Rachael Bridegroom … earned a monogram.
AS A FRESHMAN: Tabbed as a BIG EAST Academic All-Star … made first career appearance at the WMU Super Challenge, posting a 1-2 singles record and an 0-1 doubles mark … shut out Penn State’s Lisa Petruzillo (6-0, 6-0) on the final day of singles play at Kalamazoo … earned a monogram.
PREP AND PERSONAL: Was an 11-time letterwinner in four varsity sports at Saint Joseph High School … member of the school’s 2010 Indiana state tennis championship team after posting a perfect 17-0 singles record … received all-state and all-conference honorable mention recognition as a junior in 2011 … won all 23 matches started (eight singles, 15 doubles) as a senior team captain, and was named to the all-state and academic all-state first teams … earned additional letters in cross country, basketball and track & field … individual qualifier for four state cross country championships … three-time cross country all-state selection (first team in 2010) … member of the National Honor Society and the German Honor Society … selected as a Saint Joe Scholar … graduated from Saint Joseph High with a 4.1 grade point average … 2012 Kiwanis Grand Winner … previous volunteer experience with the Healthwin senior living center, the Center for the Homeless and the South Bend Youth Leadership Group … daughter of Bill Mountford (’91 MBA) and Missy Conboy (’82) … has two sisters, Delaney and Killian … father, Bill, (tennis, U.S. Naval Academy) and mother, Missy, (basketball, Notre Dame) both participated in collegiate athletics … along with parents, aunt Katie Conboy (’85 Ph.D.), uncle Tom O’Grady (’85 Ph.D.), and cousins Madeline Conboy (’13) and Molly Carmona (’15) have also attended Notre Dame … enrolled in the College of Arts & Letters and double majoring in American Studies and English.
