AS A JUNIOR: Named a BIG EAST Academic All-Star … logged a 3-3 doubles record and picked up an addition victory in singles in three fall tournament starts … posted a 2-1 record in doubles with teammate Quinn Gleason, shutting out Western Illinois (8-0) in the round of 32 at the United States Tennis Association/Intercollegiate Tennis Association Midwest Regional Championships … racked up a thrilling three-set victory over Iowa State[apos]s Caroline Anderson (7-5, 4-6, 1-0 (11-9)) … picked up an 8-2 doubles victory with Gleason at the Western Michigan Super Challenge against host Western Michigan.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Competed in six singles matches for the Irish … downed Temple[apos]s Paola Calderon 6-4, 1-6, 6-4 during fall play … picked up a win during dual play against IPFW[apos]s Kasi Fogle (6-0, 6-0) … posted a 2-0 doubles record during the spring season with teammate Julie Sabacinski … the pair picked up victories over Cincinnati[apos]s Carly Wilson and Kristina Georgivia (8-4) and IPFW[apos]s Alyssa Tucker and Marcy Huck (8-2) … named to the BIG EAST Academic All-Star Team.

AS A FRESHMAN: Ended the year with a record of 5-7 in singles on the year, including 5-3 during the fall portion of the schedule … earned first monogram … recorded three wins at the Eck Tennis Classic, knocking off Miami (OH)[apos]s Jessica Pharr (6-7 (5-7), 6-4, 1-0 (11-9)), Dayton[apos]s Sarah VanWallenghem (6-1, 6-2) and Ohio State[apos]s Kelsey Baker (6-1, 6-1) … also posted a pair of victories at the Midwest Blast, defeating Illinois[apos] Annie McCarthy (6-2, 7-5) before taking down Memphis[apos] Andrea Arques-Garcia in a one-setter, 8-5 … got a taste of dual action, playing in four matches, three at the No. 6 court and one at No. 5 … played in eight doubles matches, primarily with Kristen Rafael, posting a record of 4-1 during the fall and 0-3 in dual matches.

HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL: Six-time letterwinner in tennis (four), and cross country (two) at Penn High School … four time all-state and all-conference team selection for tennis … singles state finalist and conference champion in 2008 … named the team captain for her senior year … named team MVP her sophomore year … part of the National Honor Society, Key Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and student council while at Penn … daughter of Bonnie Manningham … Braxton Cave, a former member of the Notre Dame football team, attended same high school … enrolled in the College of Arts and Letters, majoring in psychology.
