AWARDS & HONORS

• 2023 ACC All-Academic Team

AS A SENIOR (2022-23)

• Appeared in all 21 games for the Irish, starting one
• Recorded her first career hat trick at Butler and added an assist for a career-best three goals and four points
• Also set a career best three ground balls against the Bulldogs in the team’s largest road victory in program history
• Caused two turnovers on the season

AS A JUNIOR (2021-22)

• Played in 15 games for the Irish in 2022.
• Scored seven goals and recorded four assists for 11 points.
• Added one ground ball pickup and one caused turnover.
• Notched her first career goal in the season opener win over Central Michigan.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2020-21)

• Did not see game action for the Irish as a sophomore.

AS A FRESHMAN:

• Saw action in one game as a freshman, making her collegiate debut against Central Michigan (Feb. 16).
• Collected a ground ball and a shot on goal in that outing.

PREP AND PERSONAL

• Three-time US Lacrosse All-American.
• Racked up 104 points (78G, 26A) while serving as team captain at Georgetown in 2019.
• Efforts on and-off the field earned her the prestigious US Lacrosse Jackie Pitts Award for the D.C. region. These awards recognize one player from each area who go ‘above and beyond’ in service to his/her team, school, and community.
• Throughout her high school career, McAvoy scored 251 goals and dished out 153 assists.
• Named to the Inside Lacrosse Senior Watch List in 2019.
