• 2023 NCAA Indoor Champion (pentathlon)
• 2023 ACC Indoor Scholar-Athlete of the Year
• 2023 NCAA Outdoor qualifier

AS A JUNIOR (2022-23)

• Finished seventh in the heptathlon at Outdoor NCAAs with personal bests in the javelin, shot put and 200M. Posted 5940 total points
• Finished 20th in the shot put at Outdoor ACCs
• Posted a lifetime best in the heptathlon (5940 points) at the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays. Also won the event
• Won the NCAA title in the pentathlon (Indoor) with a gold medal score of 4,512 and personal bests in the 60H and high jump. Also helped the DMR team place seventh
• Won the ACC title in the pentathlon (Indoor) with a facility record of 4,377

AS A SOPHOMORE (2021-22)

• Finished fourth at Indoor NCAAs in the pentathlon. Also helped place eighth in the DMR
• At the Indoor ACC Championships, O’Brien took home first in the women’s pentathlon, and PR’s in the high jump (5’7″), 60m hurdles (8.39), and shot put (41’11”)
• Took 1st place in the 4×400 at the 2021 Blue & Gold Invitational (3:49.93)
• Earned 2nd place at the 2021 Blue & Gold Invitational high jump with a mark of 1.64m.

AS A FRESHMAN (2020-21)

• Finished fourth in the pentathlon at Indoor NCAAs (4296 points)
• Won the bronze in the heptathlon at Outdoor ACCs (5846 points)
• Took second place at the 2021 ACC Indoor Track and Field Championship in the women’s pentathlon (4086 points)
• Collected a PR in the 200m at the ACC Outdoor Championship with a time of 24.57.
• She also tallied PR’s at the ACC Outdoor Championship for the Javelin, and 100m hurdles.
• In the Outdoor ACC Championships she took a PR in the women’s heptathlon, and the 800m with a time of 2:11.

PREP AND PEROSNAL

• Attended Divine Savior Holy Angels
• Named team captain her junior and senior year, as well as being named team MVP freshman, sophomore and junior year.
• Lettered four time in the 100 and 300 meter hurdles, long jumps, and relays.
• Also lettered in basketball, and cross country.
• Daughter of Leslie O’Brien and Kevin O’Brien, both of whom played sports at Bowling Green State University (track and field and football).
• Has six siblings, Shane, P.J., Michael, Casey, Blaise, and Caitlyn
• Majoring in American Studies
