AS A FRESHMAN:

• Finished 14th overall in shot put at the ACC Championships with a mark of 13.42m
• Set a PR in the shot put (13.64 meters) at the Jesse Owens Classic
• During the outdoor season, notched a personal best in the shot put (13.30 meters) at the Louisville Invitational
• Posted a PR hammer throw effort of 39.73 meters at the Victor Lopez Classic
• Established a PR in the weight throw (15.22 meters) to finish in sixth place in the event at the Alex Wilson Invitational
• Placed seventh in the shot put (12.73 meters) at the Gene Edmonds Open
• Broke into the top 10 in the shot put with a sixth-place throw of 11.30 meters at the Blue and Gold Invitational

PREP AND PERSONAL:

• Graduated from Lorena High School
• Four-time district shot put champion, each year of high school
• Area shot put champion as a freshman
• Attended the Games of Texas twice and was a two-time shot put gold medalist
• Daughter of Thomas and Tiffanie Juntunen
• Has one brother, Memphis, and a sister, Cadence
