AS A SENIOR: Competed exclusively during the outdoor season, with focus on heptathlon and its events … kicked off her track season at the Texas Relays, placing seventh in the heptathlon (5,396 points), including a fourth-place finish in the javelin (37.02m) and sixth place in the high jump (1.69m) … placed fifth in the 100-meter hurdles (14.32), snagged first in the javelin throw (39.88m) and placed sixth in the long jump (5.67m) at the ACC/Big Ten Challenge … finished fourth in the heptathlon at the Virginia Challenge (5,304 points), finishing second in both the 100-meter hurdles (14.25) and javelin (37.17m) … competed in three events at the Jesse Owens Track Classic, placing 24th in the 200 meter (25.92), 18th in the 100-meter hurdles (14.81) and 16th in the high jump (j1.55m) … placed third overall in the heptathlon at the ACC Outdoor Championships, earning first-team all-conference honors (5,501 points) … heptathlon effort included a second-place efforts in the 200 meters (25.26), long jump (5.66m) and shot put (12.44m) … also competed in the open high jump and finished 10th (1.72m) … earned a monogram.

AS A JUNIOR: Competed in five meets during the indoor track & field season, specializing in the pentathlon … began the season with a first place finish in the pentathlon (3890 points) at the Kent State Golden Galas … placed seventh in the 60m hurdles finals (8.82) at the Simmons-Harvey Invitational while also earning a first place finish in the high jump (1.71m) … sprinted to a fourth place finish in the 60m hurdles (8.95) while also placing fifth in the long jump (5.49m) at the Notre Dame Invitational … competed in the New Mexico Team Invitational, placing seventh in the high jump (1.63m) … concluded season with an 11th place finish in the shot put (12.15m) at the Alex Wilson Invitational … earned a monogram. 

AS A SOPHOMORE: Multi-event student-athlete who had breakout sophomore campaign, earning second team All-America honors in the heptathlon at the NCAA Outdoor Championships … had a personal best 5,470 points … brought home a second place finish in the heptathlon (5,411 points) at the BIG EAST Outdoor Championships to earn all-BIG EAST honors … helped secure runner-up finish by winning high jump and javelin events during seven-event competition … also finished as runner up in the pentathlon at the BIG EAST Indoor Championships with 3,915 points to earn all-BIG EAST honors … placed fifth in the heptathlon (5,287 points) at the Mt. SAC Relays … competed in the heptathlon at the Oliver Nickoloff Invitational and placed first (5,113 points) with one event win in the 800m … finished first in the 200m (25.74) at the Indiana University Relays … placed fifth in both the 60m hurdles (8.97) and the long jump (5.60m) at the Notre Dame Invitational … competed in the pentathlon at the GVSU Bob Eubanks Open, finishing first (3,635 points) with first place finishes in the long jump, shot put, high jump and 800m run … placed second in the high jump (1.68m), fourth in the long jump (5.40m) and fourth in the 60m hurdles (8.97) at the Blue & Gold Invitational … earned a monogram.

AS A FRESHMAN: Competed in eight meets during the indoor/outdoor track & field season … finished in the top five eight times … was a first place finisher and set a season best in indoor high jump (1.71m) at the GVSU Bob Eubanks Open … placed second in the heptathlon high jump with a personal best jump of 1.69m at the BIG EAST Outdoor Championships … took sixth in the heptathlon with a personal best 4,869 points … achieved a season high (5.44m) in long jump and 3,491 points in the pentathlon at the BIG East Indoor Championships … had a season best outdoor high jump (5.60m), a season best javelin throw (29.48m) and a personal record in the 100 hurdles (15.47) at the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays … finished fourth and set personal best in both the heptathlon 800m (2:22.80) and the heptathlon shot put (11.39) at the BIG East Outdoor Championships … named a BIG EAST Academic All-Star … earned a monogram.

HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL: Carly Rose Loeffel graduated from Cary-Grove High School in the spring of 2011 … lettered four years in track & field, specializing in the high jump and sprints, and two years in volleyball … personal best in high jump is 5-8 … earned numerous all-conference, all-city, all-region and all-state accolades throughout high school … won conference, sectional and state titles as a senior … earned national rankings throughout career … team MVP three times and team captain as a junior and senior … helped lead volleyball team to conference crowns as freshman and sophomore and a sectional title as a sophomore … participated in National Honor Society, student council, choir, interact and musicals … born to Timothy and Judy Loeffel in Cary, Ill. … has an older sister, Erin, and two older brothers, Tim and Kyle … brother, Tim, earned his MBA from Notre Dame … comes from athletic family as father, Timothy, played football at Northern Illinois, brother, Tim, wrestled at Eastern Illinois, sister, Erin, played soccer at Eastern Illinois, and grandfather, Ted Rzeppa, played football at St. Martin (Wash.) … enrolled in the Mendoza College of Business and is majoring in accountancy.
