AS A SENIOR: Saw action in 12 meets, competing in the throwing events … saw action at both BIG EAST Championships … turned in personal best in the hammer throw at the Hillsdale College Relays (46.84m) to finish ninth … other top-10 results included an eighth-place finish at the Texas Roadhouse Border Battle in the hammer (46.48m), a ninth-place finish in the weight throw at the BIG EAST Indoor Championships (16.69m) a seventh-place showing in the weight throw at the Notre Dame Invitational (16.23m and a third-place finish in the weight throw at the season-opening Blue & Gold Invitational (16.35m).
AS A JUNIOR: Competed in the hammer and weight throws for the Irish … opened the season at the Blue & Gold Invitational with a first place finish in the weight throw with a distance of 16.02m … threw for 14.43m in the weight throw and a 14th place finish at the GVSU Bob Eubanks Invitational … took home a third place finish in the weight throw at the Notre Dame Invitational with a distance of 15.75m … threw a personal best 16.09m in the weight throw at the BIG EAST Conference Indoor Championships to take 11th in the contest … began her outdoor season with competition in the hammer throw at the Purdue Mike Poehlein Invitational with a ninth place throw of 44.48m … finished ninth in the hammer throw at the Texas Roadhouse Border Battle with an outdoor personal best throw of 46.11m … closed out the season with an eighth place finish in the hammer throw at the Gina Relays with a toss of 44.72m … earned first monogram.
AS A SOPHOMORE: Opened season at the Blue and Gold Invitational, placing ninth in the weight throw and shot put with a tosses of 12.88m and 10.35m, respectively … finished seventh (13.73m) in the weight throw at the Notre Dame Indoor Opener … placed 10th (13.07m) in the weight throw at the Notre Dame Invitational … placed 34th (14.55m) in the weight throw at the Meyo Invitational … finished in 12th place after recording a 13.94m at the Alex Wilson Invitational … placed 18th (40.13m) in the hammer throw at the Dave Rankin Invitational.
AS A FRESHMAN: Did not throw for the Irish.
HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL: A three- sport athlete for The Kinkaid School (Texas) and amassed five letters between volleyball, basketball and track and field … served as team captain and earned an all-conference nod during her senior volleyball season … helped lead team to the conference championship during her junior basketball campaign, and the following received all-conference accolades … three- time all-conference selection in track and field along with being named team captain as a senior … member of the student government all four years … born in Houston, Texas, … daughter of James and Kim Bashaw … has one brother, Travis … enrolled in the Mendoza College of Business[apos] management-entrepreneurship program … graduated from the Mendoza College of Business with a degree in management entrepreneurship and from the College of Arts and Letters with a degree in Spanish.
