AS A JUNIOR: Earned BIG EAST qualifications in both the long jump and high jump during the indoor and outdoor seasons while posting the team[apos]s top times in the 60 meters and 100 meters … top 60-meter time came at the Blue & Gold Invitational, a mark of 7.15 seconds … also posted his best long jump of the indoor season at the meet, a leap of 6.82 meters 22-4 ½) … at the Notre Dame Opener, high jumped 2.02 meters (6-7 ½) to earn another BIG EAST mark and setting a career best … took 11th in the high jump at the BIG EAST meet, jumping 1.92m (6-3 ½) … also wound up 15th in the long jump … won the long jump competition at the Cal Poly Invitational, leaping 6.99m (22-11) and qualifying for the BIG EAST outdoor meet … improved that mark at the Jim Click Shootout, jumping 7.11m (23-4) while also establishing a BIG EAST mark in the high jump (1.95m, 6-4 ¾) … ran 11.24 over 100 meters at the Notre Dame Spring Opener … at the BIG EAST Outdoor Championship, missed scoring points in the high jump for the eventual team champions by losing a tiebreaker on jumps … set an outdoor career best in the long jump competition, placing sixth at the meet at 7.22m (23-8 ¼).

AS A SOPHOMORE: Progressed in both the long jump and high jump while also competing in the sprints … finished ninth in the long jump at the Meyo Invitational (6.98m, 22-10 ¾) and set a career best in the 200 meters with a 22.69 dash … exploded at the BIG EAST indoor meet with a career best 7.23m (23-8 ¾) long jump … took his first BIG EAST title in the event and out-jumped the second place finisher by over one-quarter meter (10′) … also competed in the high jump at the league meet, scoring team points with a seventh-place finish (1.97m, 6-5 ½) … entered into the outdoor season by taking fourth in the 100 meters at the Mike Poehlein Invitational (11.01) … also finished first in the 4×100 meter relay at the meet, running with teammates Selim Nurudeen, Zach Labrecque, and Tommie Lee (42.79) … had a strong meet at the Indy Relays, setting a career best in the outdoor long jump with a 7.17m (23-6 ¼) effort … also finished fifth in the high jump with a leap of 1.85m (6-0 ¾) … qualified for the BIG EAST outdoor meet in the high jump and long jump… scored team points with a sixth-place effort in the high jump (1.99m, 6-6 ¼) … also placed sixth in the 4×100 meter relay with Geoff Bennett, Selim Nurudeen, and Tommie Lee in 42.46.

AS A FRESHMAN: Proved to be a valuable horizontal jumper for the Irish during his rookie season … qualified for the BIG EAST indoor and outdoor meet in both the long jump and high jump … won both the high jump and long jump at the Notre Dame Invitational for his first two collegiate event victories … cleared a season-best 2.00m (6-6) in the high jump … best long jump of the season came at the BIG EAST Championship, leaping 6.75m (22-1) to finish ninth … scored toward the team title at the BIG EAST indoor meet, finishing sixth by clearing 1.96m (6-5) … pulled double duty during the outdoor season as well, finishing sixth in the BIG EAST meet in the long jump and seventh in the high jump … posted a season best 7.15m (23-5) measurement in the long jump at the BIG EAST meet … best outdoor high jump clearance came at the league outdoor meet as well, going over 1.99m (6-6 ¼).

HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL: Competed in track & field and football at Chaminade High School … lettered three seasons in indoor and outdoor track and twice in football … placed sixth at the Nike Indoor Track Championships to garner All-American honors … three-time all-city and six-time all-conference track athlete … won six conference track titles … MVP of his indoor track squad his sophomore season and earned same honor as a junior for the outdoor season … owns career-bests of 6-6 in the high jump, 22-11 ¾ in the long jump, and 46-8 ½ in the triple jump … established the school triple jump record and the indoor long jump standard … gold medal winner in the long jump and high jump at the 2001 Empire State Games … born Jan. 18, 1985 in Flushing, N.Y. … has two siblings … enrolled in the Mendoza College of Business as a finance major.
