AS A JUNIOR (2017-18):

    •    Claimed Honorable Mention All-America accolades for the first time as a member of the Notre Dame 400 freestyle relay entry that placed 15th at the NCAA Championships.
    •    Earned first career All-ACC Academic Team honor.
    •    Placed second in the 100 butterfly with a time of :55.90 against Ball State and Green Bay.
    •    Touched the wall in third place with a time of :55.34 in the 100 butterfly during a team dual win over No. 25 Florida State.
    •    Finished third in the 50 freestyle (:23.30) and fourth in the 100 freestyle (:51.05) in a dual sweep of No. 9 Indiana and Cincinnati.
    •    Runner-up in the 100 butterfly with a time of :55.17, adding a fourth-place result in the 100 backstroke after posting a :56.06 against No. 16 Purdue.
    •    Checked in second after swimming the 50 freestyle with a time of :23.10 against ACC foe Georgia Tech.
    •    Third-place finisher with a time of :54.92 against No. 5 Texas A&M and Michigan State.
    •    Placed second in the 100 butterfly with a runner-up time of :54.36 during an Irish upset of No. 9 Louisville.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2016-17):

    •    Broke through with a pair of top-20 finishes in the 100 butterfly (:52.82, 17th) and the 200 butterfly (1:58.26, 17th) at the ACC Championships.
    •    Placed third in the 100 freestyle (:52.09) and the 200 butterfly (2:06.85) during a tri-dual against Indiana State and IUPUI.
    •    First swimmer to the wall in the 100 butterfly with a winning time of :54.21 against ACC foe Louisville.
    •    Fashioned a pair of top-five finishes in the 100 butterfly (:55.55, third) and the 200 butterfly (2:03.77, fourth) against Northwestern.
    •    Winner in the 100 butterfly with a time of :54.94, adding a third-place time of :23.52 in the 50 freestyle against Iowa and Illinois.
    •    Runner-up in the 100 butterfly with a time of :54.28, touching the wall in fourth with a time of 2:02.30 in the 200 butterfly against Pittsburgh and Virginia Tech.
    •    Placed third in the 100 butterfly (:55.21) against Miami (Fla.), Purdue and Rutgers.
    •    Recorded a pair of second-place results in the 100 butterfly (:54.99) and 200 butterfly (2:00.67) versus Georgia Tech.

AS A FRESHMAN (2015-16):

    •    Swam at the ACC Championships, finishing seventh with 200 medley relay (:22.28 split), eighth with 200 freestyle relay (:22.44 split) and 11th with 400 freestyle relay (:49.92 split).
    •    Individually, touched the wall in :22.99 in 50 freestyle and :50.40 in 100 freestyle, placing 15th in 100 butterfly (:54.11 finals, :53.42 prelims).
    •    Started the year with four first-place victories at Dennis Stark Relays, swimming on 200 freestyle (:23.79 split), 400 medley (:55.71 split), 300 butterfly (:55.72 split) and 200 medley (:25.83 split) relays.
    •    At Florida Gulf Coast, earned three runner-up finishes in 400 freestyle relay (:51.36 split), 200 medley relay (:23.19 split) and 100 butterfly (:55.59).
    •    Also came in fifth in 200 butterfly (2:05.38).
    •    Against Michigan State, came in first with 400 medley relay (:51.53 split), tied for second in 50 freestyle (:23.89) and exhibitioned with 200 freestyle relay (:23.76 split).
    •    At Purdue the next day, swam to second place in 100 butterfly (:56.00), third with 200 medley relay (:23.59 split) and fourth in 50 freestyle (:23.92) and 400 freestyle relay (:51.54 split).
    •    At Virginia Tech, earned four runner-up results and three third-place finishes.
    •    Came in second in 200 freestyle relay (:23.49 split), 100 butterfly (:55.63), 200 medley relay (:23.15 split) and 400 freestyle relay (:51.78 split).
    •    Came in third in 100 freestyle (:51.86), 400 medley relay (:51.86 split) and 50 freestyle (:23.86).
    •    At Purdue Invitational, maxed out on four relays and four individual races.
    •    Won 200 freestyle relay (:23.13 split) and 200 medley relay (:22.45 split), taking second with 400 medley relay (:50.16 split) and splitting :50.74 on 400 freestyle relay.
    •    Individually, finished second in 100 butterfly (:53.61 finals, :54.00 prelims), sixth in 50 freestyle (:23.33 finals, :23.22 prelims), 16th in 200 butterfly (2:08.11 finals, 2:03.78 prelims) and 19th in 100 freestyle (:51.43 finals, :51.71 prelims).
    •    At Virginia, came in first with 400 freestyle relay (:51.33 split), took second in 100 butterfly (:55.20), third with 200 medley (:23.33 split) and 400 medley (:51.58 split) and 200 freestyle (:23.27 split) relays, and claimed fifth in 100 freestyle (:51.66).
    •    Versus Northwestern, emerged victorious in 200 medley relay (:23.40 split), finished second in 100 butterfly (:55.76) and 400 freestyle relay (:52.22 leadoff split) and tied for third in 50 freestyle (:23.87).
    •    In Shamrock Invitational, claimed the win in 200 freestyle relay, 200 medley relay (:23.20 split), 100 butterfly (:54.95) and broke school record en route to winning 400 freestyle relay (:49.84 split).
    •    Also touched the wall fourth with 400 medley relay (:51.20 split), sixth in 200 butterfly (2:05.88) and seventh in 100 freestyle (:51.80), tying for fifth in 50 freestyle (:23.62).

PREP & PERSONAL:

    •    Graduated from the Christa McAuliffe School of Arts and Sciences in the spring of 2015.
    •    Specializes in the freestyle, butterfly and individual medley events.
    •    Member of the Mexican Junior National Team.
    •    Earned spot at the 2015 Pan Am Games with a qualifying time of 1:01.41 in the 100-meter butterfly (long course).
    •    Qualifying time came at the National Olympiad meet held in Monterrey, Mexico in April 2015.
    •    Broke own Mexican National Age Group record in the event in the process (1:01.84).
    •    Solid showing at Pan Am Games included a 10th-place finish in the 100m butterfly (lifetime-best time of 1:01.16) and a fifth-place showing in the 400m medley relay.
    •    During only year of high school in the United States as a freshman at Battlefield High School, won Virginia 3A state titles in the 100 freestyle (:51.44) and 200 medley relay (1:45.57), with the latter setting a state record and earning the foursome All-American honors.
    •    Moved back to Mexico for sophomore, junior and senior years of high school without a school swimming team.
    •    Swam for Acuatica Nelson Vargas swim club.
    •    Previously swam for the CUBU/Nations Capital Swim Club from 2010-12.
    •    Won junior national championships at 2014 Mexican Long Course Nationals in the 100 butterfly, 100 backstroke, 50 backstroke and 50 butterfly.
    •    Was a finalist at the 2014 Junior Pan Pacific Championships in the 100 freestyle, 100 butterfly, 50 freestyle and 200 IM.
    •    Also made the finals in the 4×200 free relay at the 2013 FINA World Jr. Swimming Championships in Dubai.
    •    Best long course meters times include 1:01.84 in the 100 butterfly, :57.50 in the 100 freestyle, :28.48 in the 50 butterfly, :30.16 in the 50 backstroke and 2:23.17 in the 200 IM.
    •    Best short course meters times include :26.28 in the 50 freestyle, 1:02.93 in the 100 backstroke, 2:18.14 in the 200 butterfly and 2:17.20 in the 200 IM.
    •    Was a `B’ finalist in the 100 free at 2012 NCSA Short Course Junior Nationals.
    •    Club team CUBU won national championship at same meet.
    •    Tayde Ana Sofia Revilak Fonseca was born in Mexico City to Alfredo and Tayde Revilak.
    •    Has one older brother, Andreas, and one younger sister, Tatiana.
    •    Enrolled in the College of Arts & Letters, majoring in political science.
