AS A SOPHOMORE:

  • Posted a 22-10 record as a sophomore, including a 4-2 record in conference
  • Went 15-7 on neutral courts and recorded a 4-2 record in conference play
  • Owned a 16-7 record in doubles, including 12-5 with teammate Richard Ciamarra
  • He and partner Ciamarra peaked in the rankings at ninth following their strong start to the season
  • The two earned bids to the NCAA Individual Tournament following the successful season
  • With Ciamarra, tallied wins over No. 14, No. 37 and No. 53 doubles teams

AS A FRESHMAN:

  • Made his debut for the Irish and made an immediate impact, playing at the Nos. 3-5 singles spots and the No. 1 doubles position with partner Brendon Kempin throughout the season
  • Went 20-15 in singles matches, notching a record of 15-13 in dual matches
  • Partnered with Brendon Kempin to tally a 10-14 doubles record and defeat four ranked opponents
  • The pair defeated the fifth-ranked doubles pair of McClain Kessler and Duarte Vale of Florida  (6-4) on February 17, 2018.
  • Took down two ranked double pairs in the same weekend when he and Brendon Kempin upset No. 18-ranked Christian Langmo and Adria Soriano of Miami (7-6) on April 13 as well as No. 86 ranked Aziz Dougaz and Guy Iradukunda of Florida State (6-3) on April 15
  • Upset the No. 47-ranked pair of Alex Favrot and Simon Baudry from Clemson (7-5) on April 22
  • Finished the season ranked No. 56 in the Oracle/ITA Division I Men’s Doubles Rankings

  • Graduated from Dwight School in June 2017
  • Rated a five-star recruit by the Tennis Recruiting Network
  • Posted a 18-2 record against four- and five-star recruits as a high school senior
  • Played varsity tennis as a high school freshman
  • Son of Dan and Teresa McCormick
  • Younger brother of Harrison, who played tennis at the United States Military Academy, and Genevieve, who currently plays tennis at USMA
