AS A SENIOR:

  • Earned a 17-12 singles record in 2018-19 (8-7 in dual matches) at singles No. 3-6
  • Went 8-6 in conference play, including clinching the final two ACC matches for the Irish in the regular season to earn a spot in the NCAA Tournament
  • He and doubles partner, Matt Gamble, went 11-10 on the season in duals playing on all three courts
  • Defeated No. 70 ranked Jason Kros of Virginia Tech at the Milwaukee Tennis Classic in September

AS A JUNIOR:

  • Posted a 20-13 mark in singles matches (14-7 in dual matches), playing primarily at the Nos. 3-6 spots
  • Went 14-7 in dual singles competition as well as 8-3 in the ACC
  • Secured match-clinching wins against Louisville (March 10) and Duke (April 6) to give the Irish 4-3 victories in each contest
  • Defeated No. 52 ranked Adrian Ortiz of Texas (6-7, 6-3, 6-4) on Jan. 27, 2018
  • Partnered with Richard Ciamarra at No. 2 doubles and went 8-6 on the season

AS A SOPHOMORE:

  • Started the majority of the season for the Irish, playing primarily at the Nos. 4-6 slots in singles
  • Went 10-10 in dual singles matches and 12-13 overall
  • Partnered with Brendon Kempin in doubles and went 13-8 overall
  • With Kempin, defeated No. 39 ranked Daffra Sanon and Sam Edwards of Clemson, 6-4, on April 21, 2017
  • Earned a monogram

AS A FRESHMAN:

  • Made a strong debut for the Irish, appearing in the starting lineup for the majority of the spring season
  • Tallied a 16-20 mark in singles and a 16-18 doubles record
  • Briefly entered the doubles rankings at No. 71 with doubles partner Quentin Monaghan in the spring
  • Recorded a victory against Lamar Remy of Wisconsin (6-7 )3-7), 6-1, 6-2) as well as the doubles pair of William Malm/Marko Radosevic of Cleveland State (8-6) at the ITA Midwest Regional Championships in October
  • Defeated Asher Hirsch of No. 12 Illinois (3-6, 7-6 (7-3), 1-0 (10-8)) on February 5
  • Beat No. 13 pairing Ralf Steinbach/Martin Joyce of No. 3 Ohio State with partner Quentin Monaghan (6-2) February 26
  • Recorded a victory against Blaine Boyden of No. 1 North Carolina (3-6, 6-2, 6-3) and doubles pairing Ronnie Schneider/Anudeep Kodali with partner Nicolas Montoya (6-4), helping the Irish to a 5-2 victory over the Tar Heels
  • Defeated Daniel McCall (6-1, 6-7 (6-8), 6-2) and doubles pairing and Jason Lapidus/Daniel McCall of Duke with partner Nicolas Montoya (6-2) in the ACC Tournament as the Irish topped the Blue Devils 4-1
  • Beat Maciek Romanowicz (6-3, 6-3) and doubles pairing Sameer Kumar/Yale Goldburg of No. 29 Stanford with partner Nicolas Montoya (7-5) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament
  • Earned a monogram

PREP AND PERSONAL:

  • Graduated from ATA College Prep (Austin, Texas) in June 2015
  • Rated as high as No. 1 in the state of Texas and No. 11 in the nation according to   Tennisrecruiting.net, which rated him a five-star recruit
  • Won the gold ball at the USTA Winter National Championships
  • Attended the same high school as junior teammate Josh Hagar (’17)
  • Son of Ronald and Sheila Broadus
  • Father played baseball at Prairie View A&M University
