HIGHLIGHTS

AS A SENIOR: Amassed a 7-3 overall singles record . . . finished the year with a seven-match singles win streak, culminating in his first career dual singles win over Boston College’s Matt Wagner in a tiebreak set after coming from behind to win the second set 7-6 . . . had a strong singles performance at the Crimson Tide Four In The Fall, where he went 3-0 against his opponents . . . ended the year with an overall doubles record of 18-8 including a 15-5 record in doubles action in the spring . . . partnered with Quentin Monaghan throughout most of the year . . . claimed a win over Miami (Niles Clark/Andrew Harrington) to move into the quarterfinals at the ITA Midwest Regional Championships while partnered with Michael Fredericka . . . defeated No. 3 Illinois’ Aron Hiltzik and Toshiki Matsuya while partnered with Billy Pecor in February . . . claimed a win with Quentin Monaghan against No. 12 Wake Forest’s Keivon Tabrizi and Romain Bogaerts . . . named to the All-ACC Academic Men’s Tennis Team . . . won the Rockne Scholar-Athlete Award . . . made the Dean’s List for both fall and spring semesters . . . earned a monogram.

AS A JUNIOR: Went 4-5 during the fall in singles action … also went 8-3 in doubles during fall tournaments … saw action in Notre Dame’s dual meet against Ball State at No. 2 doubles with Matt Dooley … advanced to round of 16 of the UT Invitational with a three-set victory over Kristiyan Trukov … earned a monogram.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Recorded a 3-0 record in doubles action … Won two singles contests and three doubles matches during the fall … earned one win at the USTA/ITA Midwest Singles Championships and another at the Tom Fallon Invitational … won one doubles contest at the Vredevelt Invitational and two at the Tom Fallon Invitational … teamed with three different doubles partners during fall … a member of the BIG EAST All-Academic team … made Dean’s List both semesters … earned a Monogram.

AS A FRESHMAN:Went 7-2 during the fall in singles action … also went 3-2 in doubles, including 1-0 during the spring … went 3-1 in singles at Tom Fallon Invitational, winning all three contests in straight sets … advanced to main draw of 2011 USTA/ITA Regional Championships after working way through qualifier draw with a trio of straight-sets victories … went 2-1 in doubles at Tom Fallon Invitational, picking up a pair of wins with fellow freshman Michael Fredericka … teamed with Fredericka to beat the No. 3 doubles team from Saint Bonaventure, 8-4, in lone spring action … went to Uganda in May with Notre Dame’s Play Like a Champion Today organization … named to the Dean’s List during the fall and spring semester … named a BIG EAST Academic All-Star.
