AS A SOPHOMORE: Saw limited action with the Irish … played in four open season singles matches at the Tom Fallon Invitational … posted a 1-3 mark … lost to Peter Antons of Indiana (4-6, 2-6) and R.K. Baccalla of Western Michigan (0-6, 4-6) in straight sets … dropped a close match to Jason Norville of Michigan State [6-4, 2-6, 0-1 (11-13)] … beat Austen Kauss of Iowa for first win of the season (6-3, 6-4) … played two open season doubles matches with Takashi Yoshii, posting a 1-1 record … the duo defeated Bret Berryman and Shaun Bussert of Ball State at the Tom Fallon Invitational (8-5).
