AS A SENIOR: Received third-team All-America honors from the USILA … earned first-team All-GWLL accolades … served as a team captain … started all 14 games in which he played … missed two games due to injury … anchored an Irish defense that led the nation with a school-record 6.19 goals-against average … the Notre Dame defense did not surrender more than nine goals in a game all season long … the Irish held opponents to six goals or fewer on six occasions … led the team with a career-high 53 ground balls … picked up a career-high eight ground balls in a 14-8 win at Ohio State in the regular-season finale … had seven ground balls in a 10-8 win at Denver … scooped up four or more ground balls eight times during the season.

AS A JUNIOR: Started all 17 games and was a key reason why the Irish ranked fifth nationally in scoring defense by allowing just 7.04 goals per game … the stingy defense surrendered 10 or more goals on just two occasions and held opponents to six goals or fewer eight times … picked up a career-high 37 ground balls … attempted one shot … picked up a season-high four ground balls on three occasions … those came in wins over Albany (7-6), Villanova (16-6) and against Ohio State (9-2) in the title game of the GWLL tournament … whistled for three penalties, totaling 1:30 of penalty time.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Played in all 15 games … made one start … helped Irish rank fourth nationally in team defense by allowing a school-record 6.66 goals per game … one point on one assist … collected 20 ground balls … attempted two shots … whistled for three penalties, totaling three minutes of penalty time … notched his first career point with an assist in an 11-3 victory at Brown … picked up a season-high three ground balls on two occasions, wins over Drexel (16-5) and Bellarmine (11-3) … the Drexel contest was also his first collegiate start.

AS A FRESHMAN: Had an instant impact in the Irish defense … played in all 15 games and helped the Irish post the nation[apos]s 11th-best scoring defense by allowing just 7.67 goals per game … picked up 24 ground balls … whistled for three penalties, totaling 2:30 in penalty time … collected a season-high five ground balls in a 10-8 win over Ohio State … one of four freshmen to earn a monogram for the Irish.
