AS A SENIOR: Served as team captain … played in all 16 games … tallied one goal … picked up 13 ground balls … attempted three shots … aided an Irish defense that led the nation with a school-record 6.19 goals-against average … the Notre Dame defense did not surrender more than nine goals in a game all season long … the Irish held opponents to six goals or fewer on six occasions … tallied a goal in a 13-8 win over Penn State … picked up a season-high three ground balls on two occasions, in wins over North Carolina (9-7) and Bellarmine (11-6) … earned a monogram.
