AS A SENIOR
- Started 33 games as a senior, posting a12-14-7 record to go along with a .916 save percentage and a 2.42 goals against average.
- Posted 25 saves in the 3-2 victory against #8/9 Ohio State (Nov. 8).
- Posted 24 saves in the 2-1 comeback victory against #8/9 Ohio State, which marked his 50th career win.
- Posted a 37 save shutout in the 3-0 win at Penn State (Dec. 14).
- Posted 42 saves in a 1-1 tie against #19 Western Michigan (Jan. 3).
- Helped Notre Dame earn the extra Big Ten point in the 4-4 tie at Penn State, stopping seven Nittany Lion shooters before Cam Burke scored for the Irish in the shootout (Jan. 31).
- Posted a 19-save shutout in the 3-0 win at Michigan (Feb. 22).
- Posted 40 saves in the 4-1 road victory over #19 Western Michigan and for the weekend series against the Broncos he stopped 82 of the 84 shots he faced, including a penalty shot stop in each game.
- Posted 35 saves in the 5-2 victory against Wisconsin (Jan. 25)
- Made 34 saves in his 100th-career appearance in the Notre Dame goal, a 2-1 road victory against Michigan (Feb. 21).
- Secured his third shut out of the season and the 11th of his career in the Big 10 Quarterfinal 1-0 victory against Minnesota (March 6).

AS A JUNIOR
• Posted a 22-save shutout over Providence to lead the Irish to the 2018 Ice Breaker championship (Oct. 13).
• Stopped 31 of the 33 shots he faced in Notre Dame’s 8-2 win at Omaha (Oct. 20).
• Made 38 saves to lead Notre Dame to a 2-1 win over seventh-ranked Ohio State (Nov. 3), helping to secure coach Jackson’s 300th career victory at Notre Dame.
• Helped Notre Dame to a weekend sweep at Michigan State (Nov. 16-17) by stopping 55 of the 57 shots he faced for a .965 save percentage.
• Stopped 36 of the 37 shots he faced in Notre Dame’s 5-1 win over RPI and recorded his second career assist on Dylan Malmquist’s goal.
• Recorded a season-high 44 saves in Notre Dame’s 5-4 win at Penn State (Dec. 7), including 18 in the third period to preserve the win.
• Posted a 20-save shutout over Boston College in Notre Dame’s 4-0 victory (Dec. 31).
• Had 33 saves in Notre Dame’s back-and-forth 6-4 victory at Wisconsin (Jan. 18).
• Stopped 32 of the 34 shots he faced to help lead the Irish to a 2-2 overtime tie (and three-on-three overtime win).
• Had a season-high 49 saves in Notre Dame’s 6-3 win over Michigan State, including 20 stops in the third period (Jan. 25).
• Stopped 29 of 30 official shots in Notre Dame’s 1-1 tie versus Michigan State (Jan. 26), but also added 4 saves in the 3-on-3 overtime and then made saves on Mitchell Lewandowski and Taro Hirose in the shootout to secure the additional point in the Big Ten standings for the Irish.
• Earned Big Ten Second Star of the Week honors for his efforts against the Spartans (Jan. 26).
• Posted 36 saves, including 18 in the third period, in Notre Dame’s 5-2 win over Michigan (Feb. 12).
• Posted his first career playoff shutout when he turned aside all 27 Michigan State shots he faced in Notre Dame’s 1-0 game one win in game one of the Big Ten Quarterfinals (March 8).
• Followed up with 28 saves to shutout Michigan State in game two of the series as the Irish posted a 2-0 win to sweep the Spartans (March 9).
• Morris was then named the NCAA’s First Star of the Week following his back-to-back shutouts of Michigan State (March 12).
• Stopped 25 of the 26 shots he faced in Notre Dame’s 2-1 victory over Minnesota in the Big Ten Tournament semifinal (March 16).
• Named a Second Team All-Big Ten selection (March 19).
• Made 46 saves, including 18 in the second period, to lead Notre Dame to a 3-2 victory over Penn State in the Big Ten Championship game (March 23).
• Named the 2019 Big Ten Tournament’s Most Outstanding Player and to the Big Ten All-Tournament Team (March 23).
• It marked his second consecutive Big Ten Tournament Most Outstanding Player award.
AS A SOPHOMORE
• Made 25 saves against Alabama Huntsville to earn the win in his first career start (Oct. 6).
• Made a career-high 30 saves in Notre Dame’s 4-2 loss to Denver (last DU goal was an ENG).
• Stopped 24 of the 25 shots he faced against Sacred Heart to post his second career win (Oct. 20).
• Made 23 saves to lead the Irish to a 4-1 win at #16 Ohio State, marking Notre Dame’s first win in its first Big Ten game.
• Made 39 saves in Notre Dame’s 3-2 win at #16 Ohio State (Nov. 4) for his third straight win, including 22 saves in the third period.
• Stopped a career-high 40 shots in Notre Dame’s 5-3 win over Penn State (Nov. 10).
• Made 33 saves in Notre Dame’s 1-0 win against Penn State to post his first career shutout (Nov. 11).
• Put together a shutout streak of 118:30 from Nov. 10 – Nov. 17 that came to an end in the third period of Notre Dame’s 4-1 win at RPI (Nov. 17).
• Came back and posted a 25-save shutout in game two against the Engineers as Notre Dame won 1-0 in overtime (Nov. 18).
• Made a career high 44 saves in Notre Dame’s 1-0 win over Minnesota (Nov. 25).
• Stopped 40 shots while yielding just two power-play goals in game two against the Gophers as the Irish won 5-2 (Nov. 25).
• Named the Big Ten’s First Star for the third consecutive week following that Minnesota series.
• Posted a 23-save shutout in Notre Dame’s 2-0 win at Michigan State (Dec. 2) for his fourth shutout of the season and of his career.
• Made 48 saves in Notre Dame’s 5-3 win at Penn State (Feb. 2).
• Followed with a career-high 55 saves in game two of the series with Penn State, which was a 2-2 tie (shootout win on Feb. 3).
• In that game against the Nittany Lions, Morris stopped a penalty shot against Andrew Sturtz in overtime to preserve the tie and then made two stops in the shootout.
• Made 43 saves in B1G semifinal win over Penn State (March 10).
• Registered 41 saves against Ohio State in B1G championship Game (March 17).
• Made 36 saves in NCAA Championship debut, earning an overtime victory over Michigan Tech in Each Regional Semifinal (March 23).
• Named to NCAA East Regional All-Regional team after making 55 saves in two victories to send Irish to Frozen Four.
• Made 25 saves in the 4-3, last-second victory over Michigan, leading the team to the National Championship game (April 5).
• Posted 33 saves in the 2-1 loss to Minnesota-Duluth (April 7).
AS A FRESHMAN
• Made his first career appearance in Notre Dame’s season-opening 9-2 win over Arizona State (Oct. 7) when he played the third period.
IN THE USHL
• Played three seasons in the USHL (2013-16), beginning with the Chicago Steel and most recently with the Waterloo Black Hawks.
• Morris played the 2013-14 season with Chicago and opened the 2014-15 season with the Steel before being traded to Waterloo.
• Played in 38 regular-season games in 2015-16 and posted a 20-12-1-2 record (w-l-t-otl-sol) to go along with a 2.47 goals against average and a .906 save percentage.
• In nine playoff games in 2016, posted a 5-4-0 record and a 2.50 goals-against average and a .921 save percentage.
• Played in the 2015-16 USHL/NHL Top Prospects Game and became the fifth goaltender all-time to not allow a goal as he stopped all 12 shots he faced.
• Was named a 2014-15 USHL Third Team All-Star after posting a 27-15-4 record to finish tied for second among USHL goaltenders in victories.
• In 2014-15, ranked second in the league with a .920 save percentage, third with a 2.41 goals against-average and tied for first with four shutouts.
• After being acquired in January (2014), he posted a 19-6-3 record with a 1.85 goals against-average and .937 save percentage in 28 appearances for Waterloo.

• Graduated from South Elgin High School in South Elgin, Illinois.
• Played for the Colorado Thunderbirds before joining the Chicago Steel.
• Full name is Christopher Cale Morris and he is the son of Kathy Morris.
• Has two older sisters, Kalee Morris and Jessi Sadorus.
• Majoring in Business Technology.
