As a Freshman (2023-24)

  • Played all 33 games, with 15 starts. Averaged 28.3 minutes.
  • Drained 55 three-pointers in ACC play – a new Notre Dame ACC record. The previous record was 51 held by Prentiss Hubb, Matt Farrell and V.J. Beachem.
  • His 55 ACC threes tied for the 4th most amongst league players.
  • Shrews’ 78 made threes on the year were the 2nd most by a freshman. His 2.4 made threes/game were 2nd nationally by a freshman as well.
  • Tied the ND freshman single-game three-point record after he drained seven to finish with 23 points in the road win at Louisville (2/21). He tied the likes of Pat Connaughton, Chris Thomas and Ryan Hoover.
  • 13 double-digit scoring performances over the last 19 games. Finished with 17 total on the season.
  • Delivered when the Irish needed him most, scoring 14 of his team-high 23 points in the 2nd half of ND’s 84-80 First Round ACC Tourney victory over Georgia Tech. Shrewsberry drained 4 of his 5 threes in the 2nd half. The 23 points were the most by a ND freshman in their ACC Tournament debut.
  • Averaged 12.8 ppg in true road contests, shooting 48.2 percent from the field and 42.2 percent from three. Averaged 2.9 made threes/game.
  • Averaged 11.3 points in ACC play (2nd most on team), shooting 42.3 percent from the field & 41.4 percent from deep – latter ranked 6th amongst ACC players & 7th all-time in program history for an ACC season. Averaged 2.8 made threes/game in league play – ranked 4th.
  • Overall games: 2.4 threes/game – 11th in the ACC.
  • In the win over Clemson (3/2): Hit the dagger three with 1:29 left to put the Irish up 64-57 before the 69-62 final.
  • Drained six threes (6-9) in the 2nd half at Syracuse (2/24) to tally 18 points.
  • Breakout game in the road win at Georgia Tech (1/9), pouring in a season-best 25 points. Shrewsberry hit five made threes, went 2-of-3 from two, and went a season best 6-for-6 from the stripe.
  • Started Virginia (1/31) game 4-for-6 from three to finish with 16 points.
  • Went 3-for-4 from three-point range in the 2nd half to trade blows with #14/13 Duke (1/6) finishing with 12 points.
  • A season high 6 rebounds at #8 Miami (12/2)
  • 13 points against UMES on Nov. 22. Went 4-for-6 from three and connected on all four in a five-minute stretch in the first half. In fact, he scored 10 straight points in a 104-second stretch.

  • Ranked as the No. 32 shooting guard in the 2023 class and No. 6 player in the state of Pennsylvania per 247 Sports.

  • Main reason the Little Lions posted such a major turnaround, going from a 9-15 season to 25-3 in his senior year – Made a deep run to the PIAA 6A Elite Eight
  • Averaged 17.4 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.1 steals as a senior
  • Was a first-team all-conference pick during junior season at State College Area High School in which he led the Little Lions to a District 6 championship, averaging over 20 points per game.
  • Played two years at West Lafayette High School in Indiana during which he earned first-team all-area honors, scored a school-record 42 points in a single game during the sophomore season and scored the most points by a freshman in school history.
  • Played AAU ball for Indiana Elite. Led 16U team to Adidas 3SSB Championship and undefeated season.
