GRADUATE SEASON (2021)

  • Played in 11 of 13 games in his final campaign. Finished with 39 total tackles, including 25 solo. Rallied for six tackles for loss including a sack against Clemson. Finished with an interception and a forced fumble throughout the season.
  • OHIO STATE (9/3): Finished with four tackles, three solo. Made a key tackle on third down in the second half to force an Ohio State punt as the Irish held a narrow 10-7 lead.
  • MARSHALL (9/10): Recorded four tackles, three solo and a tackle for loss
  • CALIFORNIA (9/17): Went for two assisted tackles
  • NORTH CAROLINA (9/24): Added three tackles and a tackle for loss.
  • BYU (10/8): Recorded Notre Dame’s first interception of the season on the first play of the game. Added three tackles, two solo and combined for a one-yard tackle for loss.
  • UNLV (10/22): Finished with three tackles, 1.0 for loss. Added a quarterback hurry and a pass break up.
  • Syracuse (10/29): Recorded six unassisted tackles in the victory.
  • Clemson (11/5): Added four tackles, one for loss including a seven-yard sack in the win.
  • Navy (11/12): Finished with two tackles in the rivalry matchup.
  • South Carolina – TaxSlayer Gator Bowl (12/30): Added a season-best eight tackles in the victory. Forced his first fumble of the season, setting up the Irish offense for its first score of the game.

SENIOR SEASON (2021)

  • Played in all 13 games for the Irish and made five starts; Finished T-11th on the defense with 38 total tackles, 26 solo; Caught his first career INT against Virginia Tech and recovered a fumble against USC
  • FLORIDA STATE (9/5): Made three tackles, two solo, in the season-opening road victory over the Seminoles
  • VIRGINIA TECH (10/9): Recorded his first career interception against the Hokies, becoming the seventh different player with an interception this season for the Irish.
  • SOUTHERN CAL (10/23): Tied a career-high with one fumble recovery in the win over the Trojans, marking the second takeaway for the Irish in the game and their 16th on the season; Added a season-high seven tackles, six solo, enroute to a home victory
  • NORTH CAROLINA (10/30): Collected six tackles, three solo, to earn his third-straight performance with at least five stops
  • GEORGIA TECH (11/20): Earned five tackles for the fourth time this season on the way to a 55-0 win over the Yellow Jackets

JUNIOR SEASON (2020)

  • Appeared in eight games and started in six during his junior campaign; Finished eighth on the defense with 24 tackles, 22 solo; Added 2.0 TFLs totaling -7 yards; Recorded 3 pass breakups
  • DUKE (9/12): Started at CB and was named to the Pro Football Focus Team of the Week for his play in the season-opening win; Forced a contested target and incompletions on two of three targets, and did not allow any yards (via PFF); posted four tackles (all solo) and two pass breakups.
  • FLORIDA STATE (10/10): Started and tallied eight tackles (all solo), tied for the team lead, also adding a TFL (-6 yards) and a pass breakup against the Seminoles
  • LOUISVILLE (10/17): Started and tied for the team lead in tackles with six, adding 1.0 TFL (-1) in the 12-7 win
  • CLEMSON (11/7): Started and posted two tackles in the 47-40 2OT win over the then-No. 1 Tigers
  • BOSTON COLLEGE (11/14): Registered three tackles in the 45-31 road win
  • NORTH CAROLINA (11/27): Started and posted a tackle in the 31-17 win at the No. 19 Tar Heels
  • Appeared against Georgia Tech (10/31) and Syracuse (12/5)

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2019)

  • Played in 12 of 13 games on the season, totaling 34 tackles with seven pass break-ups, two fumble recoveries and a forced fumble
  • GEORGIA (9/21): Broke up two passes at the Bulldogs while making three tackles
  • VIRGINIA (9/28): Set a season-high seven tackles, six solo, against the Cavaliers
  • BOWLING GREEN (10/5): Forced a fumble while adding two pass break-ups and four tackles in the 52-0 win
  • DUKE (11/9): Recovered a fumble and tallied two solo tackles against the Blue Devils
  • NAVY (11/16): Made five tackles, four solo, in the 52-20 victory
  • STANFORD (11/30): Earned three tackles, two solo, in the season finale win
  • IOWA STATE – Camping World Bowl (12/28): Notched two tackles and a pass defended in the postseason contest

FRESHMAN SEASON (2018)

  • Appeared in 11 games with 18 total tackles and a forced fumble in his first season at Notre Dame
  • PITT (10/13): Recorded seven tackles, six solo, to set a career best against the Panthers
  • FLORIDA STATE (11/10): Forced a fumble and notched three tackles, two solo, vs. the Seminoles
  • SOUTHERN CAL (11/24): Made three solo tackles in the regular-season finale
  • Appeared in the CFP Semifinal game against Clemson

PREP AND PERSONAL 

  • Milpitas career stats: 6,450 all-purpose yards, 3,755 rushing yards, 1,659 receiving yards, 436 kickoff return yards, 449 punt return yards, 151 interception return yards, 112 tackles, 14 interceptions and 73 TDs (47 rushing, 19 receiving, three interception, two punt return, one kickoff and one fumble return)
  • Led Milpitas to a 14-1 record and 2017 California Interscholastic Federation 4-A state championship
  • Recorded four TDs, including a 70-yard run, 60-yard punt return and 35-yard reception, and a two-point conversion in Milpitas’ state-title victory over Southwest El Centro
  • Rushed for 310 yards and four TDs on 36 carries in a victory over Campolindo in a NorCal regional final
  • Rushed for 1,603 yards and 23 TDs on 209 carries as a senior at Milpitas High School in 2017
