AS A GRADUATE (2022)

  • Named a team captain prior to the start of the 2022 season. Started and played in 12 of the final 13 games after missing the season opening game at Ohio State. Made the transition to left guard for his final season at Notre Dame. Helped the Irish average 4.6 yards per carry during the 2022 season, racking up 2,457 total rushing yards. Finished the season with 25 total rushing touchdowns as the Irish offense averaged 31.77 points per game. Helped clear the way for seven games of 220+ yards rushing, with four games of 260+. Irish ranked 16th nationally in least TFLs allowed per game. Was honored as part of the Joe Moore Award Midseason Honor Roll.
  • Marshall (9/10): Paved the way for 130 yards rushing and two scores against the Thundering Herd. 21 completions through the air for 221 yards and a score.
  • California (9/17): Team ran for 147 yards on 41 attempts and a score in the first win of the season. Helped protect the quarterback who finished 17-for-23 for 150 yards and two touchdowns.
  • North Carolina (9/24): Ran for a season-best 287 yards on 51 carries, averaging 5.63 yards per carry. Audric Estime became the first 100-yard rusher of the season with a 17 carry, 134 yard, two touchdown performance. Irish added 289 yards through the air on 24-of-34 passing for three more scores.
  • BYU (10/8): Team did not allow a sack in the victory. Team ran for 5.2 yards per carry on 45 attempts. Protected the passing game that went for 262 yards, going 22-for-28.
  • Stanford (10/15): Went for 150 yards and a score on 34 carries against the Cardinal. 13 completions for 151 yards and a touchdown in the loss.
  • UNLV (10/22): Team did not allow a sack as the Irish threw for 205 yards on 14 completions. Ran for 223 yards on 47 carries and three scores in the victory. Logan Diggs earned his first 100-yard rushing game of the season, carrying 28 times for 130 yards.
  • Syracuse (10/29): Piled up 246 rushing yards on 56 attempts and three scores in the victory. Protected for nine completions and 116 yards and a score through the air. Two runners with 20 carries each as Estime and Diggs went for 123 and 85 yards, respectively.
  • Clemson (11/5): Helped the Irish take down a top-10 opponent with 263 yards on the ground on 47 carries, averaging 5.6 yards per carry. Protected for nine completions for 85 yards and a score through the air.
  • Navy (11/12): Ran for 66 yards and a score. Protected for 17 completions for 269 yards and a season-best four touchdowns through the air in the rivalry victory.
  • Boston College (11/19): Racked up 281 yards on 38 attempts rushing, averaging 10.03 yards per carry and scoring four times. Team did not allow a sack, hitting on 13-of-25 passing for 156 yards and a touchdown.
  • USC (11/26): Ran for 90 total yards on 26 carries against the Trojans. Protected for Notre Dame’s first 300+ yard passing game of the year as the Irish went 23-for-26 for 318 yards and three scores. Scored again on the ground.
  • South Carolina – TaxSlayer Gator Bowl (12/30): Notre Dame had three runners go for more than 60 yards in the bowl game victory, led by a 95 yard performance from Estime. Helped clear lanes for 89 rushing yards and a score from Diggs and added two scores and 61 yards from quarterback Tyler Buchner. Protected for Buchner’s career day passing, as the sophomore finished with 274 yards and three scores on 18 completions.

AS A SENIOR (2021)

  • Played and started in all 13 games for the Irish this season as a team captain; Continued streak of not allowing a sack in his entire career; Paved the way for an Irish offense which averaged over 426 yards per game of total offense, including averaging over 143 yards per game rushing (4.1 yards per carry), and scored an average of 35.2 points per game;
  • FLORIDA STATE (9/5): Started and led an Irish offense which scored 41 points and gained 431 yards of total offense in a win over the Seminoles
  • TOLEDO (9/11): Helped pave the way for an Irish offense that rushed for 132 yards and a TD; Aided in an offense which converted on eight-of-14 third downs
  • PURDUE (9/18): Paved the way for a 120-yard Irish rushing performance and 27 total points in a home win over the Boilermakers
  • VIRGINIA TECH (10/9): Paved the way for 180 team rushing yards and 32 points in an Irish road victory in Blacksburg
  • SOUTHERN CAL (10/23): Controlled the line of scrimmage which resulted in 170 yards rushing and three rushing TDs in a win over the Trojans; Helped an offense which converted on eight-of-12 third downs and dominated 31:23 minutes in time of possession
  • NORTH CAROLINA (10/30): Led an Irish offensive line that guided Notre Dame running backs to a season-high 293 yards rushing, the highest game total since Week 3 of 2020 (353 yds. vs. Florida State, 10/10)
  • VIRGINIA (11/13): Paved the way for a 249 team rushing performance in the 28-3 victory over the Cavaliers
  • GEORGIA TECH (11/20): Led an Irish offense team which scored 55 points and gained 514 total yards of offense
  • STANFORD (11/27): Helped the Irish offense in a 45-14 regular season finale win over the Cardinal; guided the Irish offense to 510 total yards, including 169 yards rushing – the team’s nine 100+ yard rushing game of the season
  • OKLAHOMA STATE – Fiesta Bowl (1/1): Paved the way for an Irish offense that set a season high 551 yards of total offense and converted on 11-of-20 third down attempts

AS A JUNIOR (2020)

  • DUKE (9/12): Helped an o-line which succumbed to just five TFL; Took home Pro Football Focus’ Offensive Line of the Week award after the season-opener vs. the Blue Devils, producing the highest-combined pass-block grade of any offensive line that week.
  • SOUTH FLORIDA (9/19): Started in the 52-0 win for an offensive line that allowed zero sacks on Irish quarterbacks and paved the way for six rushing touchdowns, the ACC’s most in a single game at that point in the season; Part of Pro Football Focus’ top-rated offensive line of the week for the second week in a row; Notre Dame’s 281 rushing yards were the most by any ACC team that week; Helped Notre Dame post 16 rushing first downs, the most in a single game at that point in the season by any ACC team
  • FLORIDA STATE (10/10): Started for an O-Line that allowed zero sacks, paved the way for 353 yards rushing, four rushing TDs, totaling 554 yards of total offense in the win versus the Seminoles; Assisted two Irish players reach more than 100 yards rushing for the first time since 2017 vs. Southern Cal (Josh Adams and Brandon Wimbush)
  • LOUISVILLE (10/17): Helped an Irish offense rush for 232 rushing yards, earning Kyren Williams his third 100-yard performance of the season. In the win, the offense held the ball for a whopping 36:15, including an impressive 7:55, 57-yard drive to finish out the fourth quarter and preserve the win
  • PITTSBURGH (10/24): Started for an O-Line that paved the way for 434 yards of total offense and 115 rushing yards (two rushing TDs) in the 45-3 win; Notre Dame’s two rushing touchdowns against Pitt marked the first time the Panthers have allowed multiple rushing touchdowns in a single game since October 5, 2019 vs. Duke; The Irish held control of the ball for 40:59 minutes of possession time, the most by an ACC team in a single game this season, and fifth-most in a single game among all FBS teams this season.
  • GEORGIA TECH (10/31): Started for an O-Line that helped the Irish post 227 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns in the 31-13 win; Posted 36:54 minutes of possession, controlling the ball for 12:13 in the first quarter alone, marking the third-consecutive game in which the Irish have controlled the ball for more than 36 minutes
  • CLEMSON (11/7): Paved way for 518 yards of total offense (208 rushing with three touchdowns, 310 passing with one touchdown) in the 47-40 2OT win over the then-No.1 Tigers; Helped create 208 rushing yards against Clemson, which, entering the game, had allowed just 99.9 rushing yards per game; The line made it possible for Ian Book to pass for 310 yards against the ACC’s then-second-ranked passing defense, as Clemson entered the day allowing 174.9 passing yards per game
  • BOSTON COLLEGE (11/14): Started for an offensive line that paved the way for 561 yards of total offense (278 rushing with three touchdowns, 283 passing with three touchdowns and zero sacks and 34:27 time of possession in the 45-31 win; Notre Dame’s 561 yards of offense at Boston College were the most this season for Notre Dame, and the most by an Irish team since their 573 vs. Bowling Green in 2019. The offensive line allowed zero sacks on the day facing a Boston College defense that entered the day averaging 2.75 sacks per game on opposing QBs

AS A SOPHOMORE (2019)

  • Started all 13 games at center
  • Helped the Irish offense rank 13th nationally in scoring offense (36.8 points per game)
  • Ranked among the nation’s top-20 centers per Pro Football Focus with an offensive grade of 74.2
  • Did not allow a sack and just two QB hits on 854 offensive snaps played this season
  • Posted a Pro Football Focus pass-block grade of 75 or better in eight games this season, including a grade of 80 or better in three of the last four games of the season
  • Recorded best pass block-grade of the season in the Camping World Bowl victory over Iowa State (84.4)
