GRADUATE SEASON (2022)

  • Named a team captain by his teammates prior to the start of the season. Played in five games making one start. Finished the season with nine tackles. Primary special teamer on units that were among the best in the nation. One of six Irish players to block a punt during the regular season as Notre Dame’s punt block unit led the country with seven blocked kicks during the year.
  • OHIO STATE (9/3): Finished with four tackles. Had a third down stop on a bubble screen in the flat to force an Ohio State punt
  • MARSHALL (9/10): Finished with a pair of tackles. Blocked a punt in the fourth quarter, helping the Irish cut into the lead with under two minutes remaining. First blocked punt for Notre Dame special teams since Isaiah Foskey blocked a punt at Pittsburgh in 2020
  • CALIFORNIA (9/17): Recorded an assisted tackle in the win
  • NORTH CAROLINA (9/24): Added an unassisted tackle in the win
  • BYU (10/8): Stuffed the BYU running back on a fourth and goal at the line of scrimmage for his lone tackle of the contest

SENIOR SEASON (2021)

  • Played in all 13 games for the Irish this season and made his first career start at Virginia; Collected the sixth most tackles of any Irish defender with 47 total stops, including 23 solo tackles, 4 TFLs and 1.5 sacks; Returned an INT 79 yards against Southern Cal and finished the year with five breakups and two QB hurries; Set a career high with nine tackles with five solo against Georgia Tech in the home finale
  • PURDUE (9/18): Earned five tackles, three solo and one pass defended in the 27-13 victory against the Boilermakers
  • SOUTHERN CAL (10/23): Recorded his first interception of the season, becoming the eighth Irish player to tally an interception this season; Set a career-high with seven tackles, four solo, in the win over the Trojans
  • VIRGINIA (11/13): Set a career-high with nine tackles, four solo, and 1.5 sacks in his first career start
  • GEORGIA TECH (11/20): Tied a career-best with nine tackles, five solo, in the 55-0 win
  • Recorded at least one tackle against Florida State (9/5), Toledo (9/11), Cincinnati (10/2), Virginia Tech (10/9), North Carolina (10/30), Navy (11/6), Stanford (11/27) and in the Fiesta Bowl against Oklahoma State (1/1)

JUNIOR SEASON (2020)

  • Played in all 12 games for the Irish this season; Finished seventh on the Irish defense with 26 tackles, with 17 solo, 4.5 TFLs and one sack; Earned his first career INT on the road at Pitt; Finished with one pass breakup and three QB hurries
  • DUKE (9/12): Recorded two tackles in the season-opening win
  • SOUTH FLORIDA (9/19): Posted three tackles in the 52-0 win
  • FLORIDA STATE (10/10): Tallied his first-career sack (loss of seven yards), to go with four solo tackles and 2.0 TFL (-8 yards) in the win
  • LOUISVILLE (10/17): Posted four tackles (three solo) in the 12-7 win
  • PITT (10/24): Earned his first-career interception (16-yard return), adding a tackle, in the 45-3 road win
  • GEORGIA TECH (10/31): Marked a tackle and one QBH in the 31-13 win
  • CLEMSON (11/7): Added a QBH in the 47-40 2OT win over the then-No. 1 Tigers
  • BOSTON COLLEGE (11/14): Registered 0.5 TFL and a pass breakup in the 45-31 win
  • NORTH CAROLINA (11/27): Posted two tackles in the 31-17 win against the No. 19 Tar Heels
  • SYRACUSE (12/5): Notched six tackles, second most on the team, including 2.0 TFL, in the 41-25 regular season finale win over the Orange
  • CLEMSON – ACC Championship (12/19): Notched a tackle in the ACC title game
  • ALABAMA – Rose Bowl (1/1): Posted a tackle in the CFP Semifinal at the Rose Bowl Game

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2019)

  • Saw the field in all 13 games and made 28 tackles, 18 solo and two TFLs; Blocked a punt against Michigan
  • NEW MEXICO (9/14): Recorded four solo tackles, including a TFL, in 66-14 win
  • VIRGINIA (9/28): Tallied three tackles, all solo, as part of Notre Dame’s 35-20 victory
  • BOWLING GREEN (10/5): Added four tackles, three solo, in the 52-0 win
  • MICHIGAN (10/26): Blocked a Michigan punt and tallied three tackles, two solo
  • NAVY (11/16): Made a season-high five tackles against the Midshipmen enroute to a 52-20 victory
  • Tallied at least one tackle against Louisville (9/2), Southern Cal (10/12), Duke (11/9), Boston College (11/23), Stanford (11/30) and in the Camping World against Iowa State (12/28)

FRESHMAN SEASON (2018)

  • Played in all 13 games with 10 total tackles for the Irish in his rookie season
  • BALL STATE (9/8): Tallied the first tackle of his career in the 24-16 win
  • WAKE FOREST (9/22): Recorded first multi-tackle performance with six stops, five solo, in the 56-27 win

PREP AND PERSONAL

  • Enrolled at Notre Dame and began taking classes in January 2018
  • Participated in 2017 spring drills with the Fighting Irish
  • Led Cathedral Prep to a 14-0 record and 2017 Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association 4A state championship
  • Finished his career at Cathedral Prep with victories in his last 28 games
  • Recorded 96 tackles, 18.5 TFLs, 9.0 sacks, three passes defended, two blocked punts and one forced fumble as a senior at Cathedral Prep
