SENIOR SEASON (2013): Started all 13 games during the season … threw for 3,257 yards and 27 touchdowns … third signal caller in school history to eclipse the 3,000-yard passing mark in a season and only two Notre Dame quarterbacks ever registered more touchdown passes in a year … threw at least two touchdown passes in 10 games … completed 54.1-percent of his passes (224-of-414) for 3,257 yards and 27 touchdowns … registered a passing efficiency of 135.4 … posted a 23-8 (.742) career record as the Irish starting quarterback … his 23 career victories are seventh-best in school history … registered 19 completions of at least 32 yards (Notre Dame quarterbacks recorded 11 such passes in 2012) … registered 48 completions for at least 20 yards and 21 for at least 30 yards … longest pass of his career entering this season was a 56-yard pass against Navy in 2011, but he has eclipsed that mark four times (66 against Temple, 82 at Purdue, 80 at Pittsburgh, 61 vs. BYU) in [apos]13 … second Irish quarterback ever to throw two 80-yard touchdown passes in the same season (joining Dayne Crist in 2010) and the only one to ever do it on the road each time … ranked 11th in the nation for most yards per completion (14.54), 19th in passing touchdowns (27), 24th in passing yards (3,257), 30th in passing yards/game (250.5), 35th in point responsibility (162) and 45th in point responsibility/game (12.5) … five 300- yard passing games this season, matching Brady Quinn (2005) for the second-most in school history in a single season … closed career with 319 yards passing in the 29-16 victory over Rutgers (Dec. 28) in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl … completed 27-of-47 passes and did not toss an interception … his 47 passes without an interception is the most without a pick in single-game school history … engineered a string of eight straight scoring drives (six touchdowns and two field goals) between the Air Force (Oct. 26) and Navy (Nov. 2) games, excepting a series of kneel downs at the conclusion of Notre Dame[apos]s visit to Colorado Springs … tossed three touchdown passes in the 37-34 victory over Arizona State (Oct. 5) , which marked his seventh career game with at least three touchdown passes … had his eighth at Air Force (Oct. 26) … completed 17-of-22 passes for 284 yards and five touchdowns against the Falcons … his 260.71 passing efficiency rating against Air Force is the eighth-best in the nation this year against an FBS team … his five touchdown passes against the Falcons were the most by an Irish signal caller since Jimmy Clausen at Stanford on Nov. 28, 2009 … he threw a touchdown pass to five different Irish receivers (Corey Robinson, William Fuller, Ben Koyack, TJ Jones and Chris Brown), the most by any quarterback in a single game in school history … threw for 156 yards on 9-of-17 passing in the second quarter alone against Arizona State (Oct. 5), finishing the frame with two touchdowns … the 156 passing yards were the most for Notre Dame in a quarter this season, and equaled the most in any single quarter since Sept. 3, 2011 against USF (fourth quarter) … threw for 309 yards in the victory at Purdue (Sept. 14), including two second-half touchdown passes (both to DaVaris Daniels) to help Notre Dame rally past the Boilermakers … sensational in the second half against Purdue … completed 12 of his 16 passes after the intermission for 215 yards, with touchdown passes of nine- and 82 yards … threw for 314 yards at Michigan (Sept. 7), marking the first time in his Irish career the signal caller surpassed the 300-yard plateau in consecutive games (career-high 346 against Temple on Aug. 31) … had three touchdown passes in the first half against Temple … third time in his career that he had at least three touchdown passes in one half … his 15.04 passing yards per attempt figure vs. Temple ranked as the third highest ever in a game by a Notre Dame quarterback who attempted a minimum of 15 passes … his 238.97 pass-efficiency rating was more than 100 points above his career mark coming in to the game and more than double his rating over each of his previous five starts … his 21.6 passing yards per completion figure vs. Temple ranked as the highest in a game by a Notre Dame quarterback since Brady Quinn (22.1) at Stanford in 2003 … since 1998, only Quinn and Jarious Jackson (twice) had a higher average per completion … surpassed the 300-yard passing mark in each of the first three games this season … second signal caller in school history that passed for more than 300 yards in each of the first three games of the season … participated in the East-West Shrine Game.

JUNIOR SEASON (2012): Appeared in 11 games, with two starts (did not play vs. Navy and Alabama; started vs. Miami and BYU) … completed 34 of 59 passes for 436 yards and two touchdowns … led the Irish offense into position for the game-winning field goal against Purdue (Sept. 8), connecting on three of six throws for 35 yards on the scoring drive … logged a season-high eight completions for 115 yards in the home victory over Michigan (Sept. 22) … scored the only touchdown of the game against the Wolverines on a two-yard rush … earned first start of the season against Miami (Oct. 6) at Soldier Field … finished a perfect four for four through the air, and gunned the game-winning seven-yard touchdown strike to TJ Jones in overtime against Stanford (Oct. 13) … threw for 116 yards and one touchdown in a starting effort against BYU (Oct. 20) … completed six passes against Pittsburgh (Nov. 3).

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2011): Started 12 games for the Irish, while appearing in all 13 … took over for then-starter Dayne Crist at halftime of South Florida game, and started the remaining 12 games … passed for over 200 yards in eight games … threw multiple TDs in six games … threw at least one touchdown pass in 11 straight games from 2010 to 2011, which ranks third for the longest streak in school history … threw for 2,871 yards and 20 TDs on the year … completed 65.5 percent of passes, the second-best completion percentage in a season by any Notre Dame QB … tied school record by completing 14 consecutive passes at one point … completed 135 consecutive passes without an interception, the third-longest streak in school history … ranked in the top five in school history in single-season passes attempted, completed, TD passes and passing yards … put together strong game in a 38-10 victory over Purdue, throwing for 254 yards and three scores … tied career high with four TD passes, all coming in the first half, in a victory over Air Force … four TD passes in first half tied with Brady Quinn for most in a half in Irish history … named College Football Performance Awards Honorable Mention Quarterback and FBS Independent Offensive Player of the Week (Oct. 11) for effort against the Falcons … produced most efficient game of season in win vs. Maryland, going 30 for 38 (79.0 percent) for 296 yards and two TDs … named FBS Independent Offensive Player of the Week (Nov. 14) for performance against the Terrapins … threw for 315 yards and three TDs at Michigan … also had two TD tosses against South Florida and Wake Forest.
