AS A SENIOR

  • Finished the 2022 NCAA Championships in 6th place en route to helping the team claim the national title.

AS A JUNIOR

  • Did not compete for the Irish as he trained for the Tokyo Olympics
  • Claimed a spot on Team USA for the Men’s Foil Individual and Team Competition at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics
  • Earned a bronze medal with the United State for the Men’s Foil Team Competition
  • Reached the Table of 16 for the Men’s Foil Individual Competition

AS A SOPHOMORE

  • Claimed his second straight NCAA title in men’s foil, becoming just the second men’s fencer to win back-to-back national championships in program history (Mike Sullivan 1977-78)
  • Also claimed NCAA Midwest Regional and ACC Championship titles throughout the course of a dominant season
  • Named Notre Dame’s overall MVP, as well as in men’s foil
  • Went 31-7 during dual competition
  • Opened the year with a 14-1 showing at the Elite Invitational
  • Posted a 7-1 to help the Irish claim the ACC championship
  • Improved career record to 68-18
  • Earned a monogram
  • In August, helped the U.S. men’s foil team capture gold at the Pan Am Games in Lima, Peru

AS A FRESHMAN

  • Posted a 37-11 record during his rookie campaign
  • Competed in all but one contest
  • In his Irish debut, finished the Elite Invitational with a 6-2 record
  • Posted a 10-2 record at both the NYU Invitational and Northwestern Duals
  • Posted a 5-1 mark during team fencing at the ACC Championships
  • Captured the ACC Men’s Foil Championship
  • Placed third at the NCAA Midwest Regional Championships
  • Totaled 18 wins during pool competition in helping lead the Irish to the national title, and claimed the No. 1 seed to the men’s foil semifinals
  • Defeated teammate Axel Kiefer 15-4 in the semifinal bout to advance to the championship
  • Defeated Columbia’s Sam Moelis 15-8 to capture Notre Dame’s first NCAA men’s foil title since Gerek Meinhardt in 2014
  • Two weeks later, claimed the FIE Junior World Championship title in Verona, Italy, where the U.S. junior men’s foil team also claimed bronze
  • Became the first American fencer to win Junior World, US Fencing Division I and NCAA titles in the same season
