Matthew Tichacek 2018-19 Fencing Roster

AS A JUNIOR:

• Completed the season with a 30-24 record after competing in all six regular season meets
• Turned in a season-best 10-1 record at the DeCicco Duals
• Competed in the ACC Championship during the team competition, helping lead the Irish to a team championship
• Improved his career record to 70-30

AS A SOPHOMORE:

• Opened the season with a 15th-place finish at the Penn State Garret Open
• Went 19-5, competing at the DeCicco Duals and Northwestern Duals
• Posted a 14-1 record at DeCicco
• Went 5-4 at Northwestern to wrap his season
• Improved to 40-6 on his career

AS A FRESHMAN:

• Posted a season record of 21-1 through two meets
• Went 16-1 in his debut for the Irish, the DeCicco Duals
• Concluded the season with an undefeated run at the Northwestern Duals, going 5-0
