AS A FRESHMAN

• Went 39-20 on the season, competing in all six contests for the Irish
• Made her Irish debut at teh Elite Invitational, posting a 6-2 record
• Finished the DeCicco Duals with a 9-1 record
• Posted an 11-8 record to conclude the regular season at the Northwestern Duals

PREP AND PERSONAL

• Graduated from A Beka Academy in May 2017
• Member of Cutting Edge Fencing Center for nine years
• Earned an A rating in sabre at the July 2016 Summer National Championships
• Placed second in the Division 1A NAC in December 2016 (Richmond, Va.)
• Placed second in team event at January 2017 NAC (Columbus, Ohio)
• Three-time team winner of Metroplex Team Championships
• Is a national rated referee in all three fencing weapons
• Daughter of Brian and Ingrid Ward
• Enrolled in the First Year of Studies program with plans to major in business
