AS A SENIOR: Went 22-3 in foil during the year … fenced in two sabre bouts, going 2-0 at the Penn Elite Invitational … finished 23rd in foil to open the season at the Penn State Open … went 17-2 at the DeCicco Duals … went 5-1 at the Northwestern Duals to wrap the regular season … named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll.

AS A JUNIOR: Competed sparingly for the Irish, garnering a 26-5 record throughout the year … finished 2-0 at the Ohio State Elite Cup, and earned an 8-4 mark at Northwestern and 14-0 record at the DeCicco Duals … helped women’s team win team title at ACC Championships … at Ohio State, won two bouts against North Carolina’s Amanda Lalezarian (5-4) and Wynton Wong (5-1) … at Northwestern, lost 5-3 against the Wildcat’s Kaila Budofsky … went 1-1 against Temple foes, beating Mariah Slagle 5-4 but losing to Becca Stanford 5-1 … also lost 5-2 against Stanford’s Eliza Klyce, but won 5-3 against Christie Dawson … went 2-1 versus Air Force combatants, losing 5-3 to Mary McElwee but beating Nicole Quattrociocchi 5-1 and Madeleine Girardot 5-4 … finished the tournament with three wins against UC San Diego, besting Rosalyn Lim 5-1, Alina Marshall 5-2 and Sophia Holmqvist 5-1 … in DeCicco Duals, posted second-best record amongst female foilists with undefeated 16-0 mark … won early against Cleveland State’s Morgan Ashcraft (5-1) and S. Chakraborty (5-0), then went on to beat Wayne State’s Meghan Flynn 5-1, Lawrence’s Rebecca Albrecht 5-3 and Detroit’s McKenna Brohl 5-0 … finished the tournament beating Wisconsin’s Victoria Enriques 5-0, Michigan State’s Laura Cheaney 5-1 and EElyse Horak 5-2, and Michigan’s Carolyn Grant 5-0 … at ACC Championships, finished fourth individually after losing to teammate Lee Kiefer in the semifinal round and Madison Zeiss in the third-place consolation bout … finished with 11-4 record in round robin play … earned a monogram.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Posted 32-13 mark on the year to improve career record to 52-17 … began the season in impressive fashion, winning four of five bouts at NYU Invitational … bested Yale’s Megan Murphy, 5-2, and blanked Jin Ai Yap, 5-0 … out-touched Northwestern’s Mikela Goldstein, 5-3 … emerged victorious against host NYU’s Audra Fox, 5-1 … won two of three bouts at the St. John’s Invitational, defeating Harvard’s Alexandra Kiefer, 5-3, and St. John’s Melissa Corona, 5-3 … racked up 10-11 record at Northwestern Duals … capped the Evanston, Illinois tournament with 3-0 sweep of UC-San Diego’s Nicole Chiang (5-1), Alina Marshall (5-3) and Rosalyn Lim (5-3) … breezed through combatants at DeCicco Duals en route to logging a sterling, 16-0 tournament record … earned a monogram.M

AS A FRESHMAN: competed in two meets for the Irish, logging a 12-3 record at the Northwestern Duals and 12-1 mark at the Notre Dame Duals … in Evanston, Illinois, blanked Fairleigh Dickinson’s Alexis Camara and Sanki Patel 5-0, but narrowly lost to Alix Lerch, 5-4 … went 2-1 against North Carolina and UC-San Diego foes … lost 5-0 against UC-San Diego’s Victoria Parra, but won 5-0 against Tritan teammate Nicole Chiang … went undefeated against Cal Tech and Stanford … did not allow a single touch in bouts against the Beavers, winning two of the three 5-0 and her third by forfeit … against the Cardinal, won two bouts 5-1 and the third bout 5-0 … again went undefeated at Notre Dame Duals, bouting against Cleveland State, Wayne State, Detroit, Northwestern and Lawrence … against Air Force, suffered lone loss to Mary McElwee, 5-4 … won other two bouts against the Falcons with matching 5-1 scores … finished at the MFC Championships in ninth place, earning honorable-mention All-MFC accolades.

PREP & PERSONAL: Graduated from St. Thomas Episcopal … competed with the Salle Mauro club team … third-place finisher at the 2010 Junior Olympic Fencing Championships … claimed third place at the 2009 Junior National Championships … competed at the Senior World Cup in Dallas, Texas … participated with the National Charity League for six years … daughter of David and Rebecca Followill … has one sister, Hannah … enrolled in the College of Arts & Letters, majoring in Chinese.
