SENIOR SEASON (2022)

• Made 26 appearances and five starts on the season.
• Finished the year with a 3.75 ERA, 5-2 record with two saves through 48.0 innings pitched and 37 strikeouts.
• Won his first three starts of the season after allowing just one run in 16.0 innings pitched.
• Had a string of four and five-straight appearances out of the bullpen without allowing a run.
• Eight of his appearances out of the bullpen lasted longer than 1.0 inning.
• He did not allow an earned run in 14 of his 21 appearances out of the pen.
• Tied a career high with 6 strikeouts against Manhattan. (2/18/22)

JUNIOR SEASON (2021)

• Made 17 appearances and had eights starts on the season.
• Finished the year with a 2.70 ERA, 5-1 record with two saves through 60.0 innings pitched and 43 strikeouts.
• The 2.70 ERA led the ACC among qualified pitchers and he was one of three Irish pitchers to finish the season ranked in the Top-10 in ERA in the ACC.
• Tied a career high with six strikeouts in the 9-1 win over Mississippi State in the Starkville Super Regional (6/13).
• Set a career high with 8.0 innings pitched against Central Michigan in the South Bend Super Regional (6/6).
• Set a career high with six strikeouts against North Carolina (5/2).
• Set a career high with six innings pitched in the win against No. 14 Georgia Tech (4/10).
• Set a career high with three strikeouts in his first career win against Virginia (3/14).

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2020)*

• Made five appearances during the abbreviated season.
• Finished the year with a 2.25 ERA over 8.0 innings pitched with one save and a .148 opponent batting average.
• Set a career high with 3.2 innings pitched to earn his first career save in the 14-8 win over North Carolina to sweep the series.
• Set a career high with two strikeouts against UAB on Feb. 15.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2019)

• Made nine appearances and one start during his first season with the Irish.
• His first collegiate appearance came in the season opener against Arizona State.
• Made his first career start in the final game of the Alamo Irish Classic against Incarnate Word.
• Tossed a career high two innings against No. 21 North Carolina and allowed just one hit.
• Playing summer ball with the Madison Mallards in the Northwoods League.

PERSONAL

• Graduated from Joliet Catholic Academy in the spring of 2018. Intends to major in business.
• Led Joliet Catholic to four conference baseball championships. Was named East Suburban Catholic Conference Co-Pitcher of the Year as a junior and East Suburban Catholic Conference Player of the Year as a senior.
• Was a volunteer for Remembering “G” Foundation and a member of NHS.
• Grandfather Bernard Donald Tyrell (’51) attended Notre Dame.
• Attended the same high school as Rudy Ruettiger.
• Aidan Michael Tyrell is the son of Thomas and Karen Tyrell. Has brothers, Ian and Keegan, and a sister, Spencer.
