SENIOR SEASON (2017):

  • Saw action in 10 games, while making four starts and posting a 3-2 record
  • Returned to starting rotation against Toledo, allowing one earned run while collecting the victory
  • Threw five innings in each of final two career starts, both wins over Illinois State and Valpo

JUNIOR SEASON (2016):

  • Made 11 starts with a 3-4 record and 4.26 ERA
  • Threw seven shutout innings with just two hits in season opener against Santa Clara
  • Struck out seven over eight innings in win over Virginia Tech

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2015):

  • Opened season in bullpen before emerging as midweek starter and eventually weekend ace over campaign
  • Finished season with 9-1 record and 2.27 ERA over 11 starts and 17 total appearances
  • Finished tied for second in ACC in wins, fifth in ERA and sixth in walks per nine innings (2.04)
  • Joined Aaron Heilman and John Axford as the only Irish pitchers since 1998 to start the season at least 9-0
  • Earned his first career save in 10-9 win over Oklahoma
  • Recorded a complete game shutout against Eastern Michigan, scattering 10 hits and hitting a batter while not conceding a walk and striking out five in 6-0 win
  • Followed up that performance with 4.1 shutout innings in relief against Pitt to clinch ACC Co-Pitcher of the Week honors
  • Turned in a quality start in NCAA Regional loss to Illinois, allowing three runs in 7.2 innings for his only loss of the season.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2014):

  • Made 11 appearances and a pair of starts during rookie season
  • Did not allow a run in final four appearances of the season, with an ERA of 0.61 over his final six appearances (14.2 innings)
  • Collegiate debut came against No. 24 Florida Atlantic
  • Made first career start against Youngstown State

HIGH SCHOOL:

  • Earned four letters each in baseball, basketball and football at Otsego
  • Rated the No. 13 right-handed pitcher and No. 26 overall prospect in Ohio by Perfect Game
  • Went 6-0 as a senior with a 0.70 ERA and 58 strikeouts, earning Northern Buckeye Conference Pitcher of the Year honors and honorable mention all-region honors from Rawlings
  • Hit .440 with 21 RBI and a pair of homers as a senior
  • Was a second team all-state selection in football
