Notre Dame Routed by Wake Forest

NOTRE DAME, Ind. — The Wake Forest women’s tennis team, ranked No. 9 in the country, won five of six singles matches and all three doubles matches en route to an 8-1 victory over No. 14 Notre Dame on Sunday afternoon. Notre Dame drops to 9-5 on the season while Wake Forest is 6-2.

Notre Dame sophomore Jennifer Hall, ranked No. 30 in the country in singles, was the only Irish winner on the day as she defeated Maggie Harris of Wake Forest by a 6-3, 6-0 count.

Nicole Kaiwai, Lule Aydin, Annemarie Milton, Amy Jensen and Cristina Caparis were all winners for Wake Forest in both doubles and singles.
